just wanted a thread for shops that don't sell your usual british fayre that are opening in leeds showing the burgeoning multiculturalism in leeds.

noticed this one this morning walking to work: chinese supermarket opening in part of where brannigans used to be near the sony center.

There seems to be quite a few chinese supermarkets and the Chinese Arcade around where the Harewood Quarter will be. I hope these shops do stay when it is built... Its a pity the arcade is so quiet too, with a bit more establishment it could become a chinese quarter...
Granary Wharf seems to be a good place for shops selling crafts from around the world too, some of which are fairtrade I noticed...
