Qatar = Boring

hi guys i have heard Qatar is one of the most boring places in the world, nothing really to do after a while, because it is so small and is just flat desert, no natural desert beauty like saudi arabia or UAE, and there is very few entertainments in the city. is all this true?

Qatar is a small country, so dont expect the Qataris to devote most of their land for entertainment facilities. Thats just stupid in my honest opinion. :|

The Qataris are wise and theyre taking decisions, which will help boost their economy (by providing good educational and healthcare systems for its people). Finance is another importance in the Qatari economy. Surely, a country as small as Qatar won't build too many leisure facilities. However, theres a saying which goes like this: "its not the quantity, but the quality". ;) Theres another saying too: "great things come in small packages".

Anyways you shouldnt expect every Gulf country to turn into an entertainment centre for the tourists.

Qatar is really boring as you said in the summer , but it's really amazing in the winter… I can say the whether is really playing a main role in our lives …
Qatar is one of the places you have to seek for the entertainment by your self un like Dubai for example where you can find entertainment every where . or to make it more clear, Dubai entertainment is like a video games ;the video games entertain you, but Qatar is more like a"blindman's buff" , you play this game to entertain your self.. hmmm I don't know if you get what I mean or not.. I wish you do
I know the god did not give us a beautiful nature but he gives us wealth and good life instead

They are some of the meadows in the winter, most of them are located in the northern part of Qatar peninsula .

i dont think size is a problem for entertainment stuff. Look at bahrain, it's tiny compared to qatar but despite it's size, bahrain is filled with areas for entertainment and shopping. And thats not all, they are expanding and making new areas for entertainment.

Qatar is beautiful in its own special way , and tourists might notice how interesting this country is at first glance , however i`m positively sure if u stay with a local family they will help you discover places beyond imagination :D

I think Qatar has one of the best deserts, khor al adid, or the inland sea. Its an area in the south of qatar where the sea comes into the sand dunes. But that place alone doesnt qualify it as a fun place. Qatar is fun for its ppl coz they know what to do and where to do but its far from fun as a touristy kind of place.

Can someone list upcoming things in Qatar that would be must-sees for tourists?

How're they're doing on the cultural side.. as in art galleries, museums..etc? They've got some pretty good projects in the pipeline for that.
