the alpha bank building looks great! i also like the olympic commitiee building

I will be available on Sunday for a couple of days, as I am working now. Great idea for a thread, I hope I will be able to contribute from this weekend onwards as I am very busy right now.

Never been a big fan of modern architecture - skyscrapers are the only exception - mainly because the classic designs are hard to beat. However, there are many great examples of attractive modern structures, and Athens has LOTS of them. Thanks for the photos, Leafs!!!

yea, we needed a thread like this i thought. Its a side of Athens that seems to be hiden in the shadows, but revealed partially by the Olympic Games and the construction of the metro. Since the olympics, it seems its the matter has gone back into the dark again :eek:
