I am visiting the Manchester area in October. I was wondering if anybody has some thoughts on this hotel. I am staying 5 nights at the Sachas. Is it close to Piccadilly Train Station?

Its situated on Tib Street between Market Street and Oldham Street, about a 10 minuite walk to the station.

There is a tram station right besides it too, which will take you to the train station, but as Sifter notes, it's really not that far :)

I had a function there once and it looks clean and and fairly well decked out, however i didn't see any rooms.

Overall i think it's good

You want to cancel that Jeff and book yourself into the very best hotel in town.

It's called the Jarvis, and it's in Piccadilly.

hourly rates, i know wot u mean. i was lookin for a hotel in Harlem and they all offered hourly rates. I was like WTF, im with 2 of me mates u cheeky cunt.
but i also learnt that alot of people go in to do drugs and chill too.

The place isn't as rancid as people make. If you're very straight (read:frigid) then you'll think it's a rank gaff for scummers. But if you're looking for an ace night with no hang ups or worries, you can't go wrong.

Now THAT sounds like the voice of experience to me, I say go for it, a night at Sashas with a room full of hookers, Ive had worse nights I reckon :)

Some of the Sachas rooms have no windows.
