A new state-of-the-art basketball stadium will be
built in Jerusalem, the city said Thursday.

The NIS 90 million stadium, which will be constructed to the east of the existing Teddy Stadium and is slated to seat 5,500 people, is being sponsored by Israeli lottery.

The stadium's construction is slated to begin by the end of the year.
