here's a random question that popped out of my head:
do u think a excellent skyscraper is like a hot chick (for example, jennifer lopez) or a form of art (for example, the poop maker model that i read about once)
or both? or neither?

myself, currently i think a good skyscraper is like the poop maker model
but my opinions changed many times

Perhaps a hot chick is not a good metaphor for my idea.
When I said hot chick, i don't mean anything sexual
I meant the idea that a hot chick (or guy) have a "normal" look, without proportions that is off. THe image of the person is always pleasent.
This type of style is like Cesar Pelli's skyscrapers. His skyscrapers (not residential buildings) all are monumental, soars to the sky, almost always have a centralized form, and have setbacks. It is similar to a good looking person, the building is always trying to acheive one pleasant feeling.
What I meant by a good building as an art form is like those by Daniel Libeskind. For example, in his Imperial War Museum, the building is distorted, chaotic, and generally makes the viewer feel uncomfortable and destressed, much like the war that happened. This building by no means is like a hot chick, but more like a mutated corpse. The idea of a good building as an art form is one that communicates its idea and emotions well, regardless of whether the emotion is a pleasant one or not.
Before, my favorite architectu is Cesar Pelli, but analyzing too many Cesar Pelli buildings turn out to be very boring, since they are all the same formula (i analyzed many of them), but accomodates the surroudings.
Daniel Linbesking is my new favourite architect because his buildings express a variaty of emotions, and incorporates different symbolisms instead of being just a formula for a tall soaring building, much like the poop machine as art.
