♣628.finst November 2nd, 2005, 03:19 PM 1, 4, 6 are really funny, creative design. Glad to see Israel has these beautiful buildings.
TalB November 2nd, 2005, 09:19 PM I think the Neeman Towers look preety colorful.
everythingisone November 2nd, 2005, 10:16 PM The egg-shells, as they are known, in Ramot Jerusalem are strange buildings. The interior walls are shaped the same so it is difficult to get furniture in some places.
I like the Meshulash House, Jerusalem. I saw similar structures in Tokyo also. It is good use of space.
The Neeman Towers,Tel Aviv would start to bother me after a while. I do not like the use of primary colors like that.
I do not understand the Spiral Building, Ramat Gan. What is it?
placebomuse November 2nd, 2005, 10:20 PM Neeman Towers for the colours but all those building are very cool, reminds me Hundertwasserhaus in Vienna :

The colors. I commented before that I do not like primary colors used on buildings. The pastels or shades of color on your picture look nice.
placebomuse November 2nd, 2005, 10:52 PM oh ok i understand, but the architecture is very similar to hacaweret in Jerusalem, Bait Haspiral in Ramat Gan and 181 in Rehov HaYarkon in Tel Aviv.
Have you ever been to Vienna ? This house is very famous all over the world, i've been there (now it's a museum), it's very funny and weird.

From a distance, when looking at the whole complex of egg shell buildings, they look pretty interesting. They look like a large geometricly-shaped complex. It is onyl onece you get close that they become the sight we see in that picture. I must say, the photo itself brings out more ugliness in the buildings than I ever personally felt while seeing them in person. The photo isolates one section so that the geometric feel one gets while seeing the whole complex, or even an entire building, is lost.
Most of the photos show the entire building so we at least get a feel for what the architect intended.
