samah September 29th, 2005, 03:26 PM waaa savanah oledi 6th floor??? very fast savanah.... i think this is to attract more buyer on buying savanah....
someone said that they are slowing down the havanna's progress.... and speeding up savanah!....
i think by now havanna has passed the 30th floor mark....
after seeing the satellite google photo.... i can totally see that i made the right choice to buy the unit 10. not unit 11 i think.... because unit 11 will face the mindef apts directly.... as in really face to face!!!!
my unit 10 will not be as exposed.... huh... lega!
wooohooo... did what u guys did... and i believe i could see kg warisan from my unit... even though it's a mindef view unit... hooray savanna unit 11! :) :) :) :) :)

Well..lets hope that it will be high enough to pss the slope ;)
If not how?
savanna11 September 30th, 2005, 10:26 AM are the high rise blocks located on higher ground than the rest of the developement?
ZaHiRnYa??? September 30th, 2005, 10:31 AM are the high rise blocks located on higher ground than the rest of the developement?
Which high rise blocks your referring to?
savanna11 September 30th, 2005, 10:56 AM havanna and savanna
ZaHiRnYa??? September 30th, 2005, 11:51 AM Yes, if you compared it against Lanai n Jelatak.
But the Mindef apartment is even higher than the other 2. Ground floor of Mindef will be on tha same par of either level 3 or 4 of Havanna n Savanna ;)
koktsin September 30th, 2005, 12:20 PM Lanai is the low-rise apartment?
Jelatek is the 2 tall towers facing Jalan Jelatek?
which one is havanna and savanna.. hmmm
ZaHiRnYa??? October 1st, 2005, 09:09 AM Lanai is the low-rise apartment?
Jelatek is the 2 tall towers facing Jalan Jelatek?
which one is havanna and savanna.. hmmm
Yes. Yours is Lanai. Jelatek is the 2 tall tower. Havanna is the one under construction behind your unit that already reach level 31 n Savanna is next to it, which already reach level 6 ;)
samah October 1st, 2005, 02:42 PM yey! lets drink to that!!!
mine is the 3 floor.... so i hope my unit will be seeing the landscaping around havanna only.... plus i hope it will not be high enough to pass the slope/cliff facing the mindef apts... :)
i guess maybe if you don't clear the slope/cliff, you could enjoy the landscape/trees and not the mindef aprt... that would look nice too... :) :) and think it should be quiet too (compared to jelatek facing the main road...)... and dun have to worry someone from mindef looking back at you! although they might do that from higher floors? hehehe... stalkers! :weirdo:
mine is similar to urs... 5th.... i think i should be on the same level as the highest/mid point of kg warisan... so lotsa greeneries to look out for... kinda regretting the fact i didn't go for 10th floor, but oh well, it should be a quick trip on the elevator to 5th floor, without stopping on so many floors in between... i work in klcc.. 50 something floor... after a while... you feel the elevator trip just takes too freaking long... don't get me talking about fire drill! :bash:
danny_maya October 2nd, 2005, 12:17 PM I heard that Block J has a break in. Can anyone confirm it? The news came from my wife . She saw the notice from bulletin board just an hour ago.

Yes. I read it yesterday while I was there. Apparently there was no sign of forced break in. The intruder used the sliding door from the lanai as the unit located at the ground floor.
They investigating if it was done by someone from inside SM itself.
koktsin October 3rd, 2005, 01:52 PM hmm..
ZaHiRnYa??? October 3rd, 2005, 01:54 PM Koktsin. U were there yesterday right?

yeah i think thats the down side of having a ground level unit in a condo...
with 1000+ people (SM residents) running around.... u dont really need anyone outside SM to break in! special attention has to be given for security of ground level units!....

True.
The notice said that it happened during early hour of the morning. Couple of watches n some other small stuff went missing.
I do notice that some of the ground floor lanai does not have any grill for their sliding door.
But I hate grill.

most likely we will see lots of housing estate and some mountain range at the far end. along the way there will be some scattered highrise apartments. The google image is bout 2 years old. but our view wont be too bad. unless your unit is around level 6 - 18 which will be block by mindef

gastrix October 5th, 2005, 07:15 AM hi everyone,
just registered after a few weeks reading this forum.
Bought a unit in havanna, signed S&P already, still waiting for it to be ready.
loan is approved already...yahoo!!
anybody knows hows the view like from unit 7?
scared of making a mistake buying that unit. I did a small survey from lebuhraya bertingkat somewhere near the dato keramat station, the unit 6 & 7 is facing Sucasa apartment if i'm not mistaken.
Initially I thought it would be covered by the low cost apartment on the right of the unit. Seems that it would not be the case, whew!
but the downside is not beeing able to see KLCC(floors below sun deck). bummer!
any chance of glimpsing at KLCC from the Sun deck at 21st floor?
nice meeting all of you here!

Unit 7? It will not face the low cost apartment directly for sure.
Which floor?
Wah..how can u make sure the view from the elevated highway? U can stop u car there mah ;)
gastrix October 5th, 2005, 08:54 AM hehehe,
actually I drove up to the elevated highway through the jalan jelatek onramp, then stop at the side about 50 - 100 metres from the interchange. but don't try it guys, can be dangerous at times especially during the morning rush. I went there during the offpeak period about 11.00 am.
my unit is somewhere in the 8th - 13th floor, hehehe...keeping it a secret.
zahirnya, any chance of smuggling me inside seri maya for a first hand look at the environment? I doubt that the guards would let me in even i'm an owner of an uncompleted unit. Once in, take a lot of pics, then post it here....

escapekl October 5th, 2005, 11:50 AM Hi everyone! I've been a very interested reader in this forum for the past few weeks and finally registered myself today. I also bought a unit in Havanna, unit 6 on one of the middle level floors in September and just yesterday Jeyaretnam and Chong have called me to say my S&P agreement is ready to be collected and the loan agreement is ready to be signed. Hehe, I've also made a few visits to the low cost apartment next to Havanna and enjoyed a teh tarik at the mamak shop there while looking at the building going on....once I was sitting there having a drink past midnight and the lights on the crane went off at nearly 1a.m....hope they are able to finish it earlier than the expected date!

escapekl October 5th, 2005, 12:37 PM Hehe....guess I'm having the new buyer excitement and anxiousness! Also walked up to the top level of the car park at the low cost apartment a few times to have a better look and idea of the view. My unit is higher than the Lanai units below so should have an unrestricted view. I'm also working in one of the high floors (above 40) of Menara Citibank and from my window I can actually see the Havanna block clearly.....hehe can monitor the building progress from my office and see the cranes moving around ;p

My Savanna's lookin' real good :wink2: and the whole of SM should be prime freehold KL city centre real estate within a couple of yrs -- unless we get more break-ins and such by who knows who. :hammer:
BTW, I have perfect line-of-sight view of Havanna (and soon Savanna) from my 18th floor office in the KLCC area. The low-cost block seemed dwarfed by the 31 storey Havanna.
Would appreciate some picture updates, esp. for Savanna of course. :tongue3:

Morning All! Phew, the traffic jam after work yesterday was amazing. From my office can see Tun Razak, Jln Ampang and even Ampang Elevated Highway jammed up bumper to bumper, and the yellow box right at the junction of Ampang Park and Crown Princess was stuck with cars, all could not go front or back for quite a while, luckily I had a meeting and only left the area after yum cha at 10p.m....all clear then! Gastrix, if you go to the low cost apartment to have a look, you can actually see your unit very clearly :) Can't actually make out the 21st floor sun deck from my office window, hehe...wish I can set up a telescopic lense from my office and zoom on Havanna for a close up view, that'll be something :)

thats more or less....... yeah you have forgotten the function rooms. :P yes it is confirmed that the garbage chamber not on each floor. For me it is GOOD news .. cos the experience from where I am staying since I was young. it has the garbage chamber at each level. They are some "no brainers" just like to dump big items into it and at the end all we know it get CLOAK in between. Now , further more.. people will start dumping their own rubbish from upper levels, imagine that... all the sudden the entire area will become stinky. SIGH.
I hate that.

Actually it depends on the management lah. My apartment's garbage rooms are cleared twice a day so there is no such issue. Taking the garbage to the basement is a pain in the neck.......esp when you're moving in and have large items :ohno:

Ok . It would also depend on the owner preference as well. As for me I would like it at basement. :)
escapekl October 6th, 2005, 12:02 PM Wow...no garbage chamber on each floor! Think I need to order a Star Trek type vaporiser to vaporise all my garbage..heheh...otherwise can use the trips down to throw the garbage in the basement as a work out...walk down to throw then walk up again! Good thing is I'll be on one of the middle levels....can u imagine those staying on top in the Havanna penthouses and have to take the lift down from level 32 to throw their garbage....just hope there are no cases of leaking/bursting garbage bags otherwise we'll seriously have an issue to raise with the Management Office.

You could try open burning on your lanai
Yea....the main problem is leaky rubbish bags.......you might have think that you've secured the bag properly but shit do happens. Imagine the drip starts in the lift and it trails you all the way to the garbage centre. And thelift would be filled with the garbage stench all week. It happened at my apartment in Auckland before. Oh and one more thing, although cleaned everyday, because of the vast amount of garbage for the entire apartment building - the rubbish stench could be unbearable :ohno:

I will only throw the rubbish when I am on my way out ... to basement/work /getting your car. unless you are talking about rubish of a big volume that you can't leave it overnight.

Haha...Britney refers to my Vios, that's my nick for my car...whereas I call the Suzuki Swift Lindsay Lohan cos when I first saw the Swift, I was tempted to change to a newer more exciting model, but then decided to remain loyal to my Britney, cos it has a bigger rear (boot)! :)
Just called Jeyaretnam and Chong to check on my loan agreement. They said it's ready to be signed and I'm going to go sign and also pick up my S&P document from their office next Monday. Also asked how much my fees (legal and disbursement) for my loan agreement will be and they gave me a sum of nearly 4K! I knew I should have gone to law school instead, gonna be a poorer man next Monday :)

koktsin October 7th, 2005, 06:09 PM can anyone tell me how is macrolynx connection and the voip phone?
utopia0 October 7th, 2005, 09:49 PM Well all the talk about "rubbish sampah lapsap" over the last one week has been somewhat meaningful in a way :)
All of us have our opinions and preference on how we should handle this unwantted item.
Some of us would have prefered T&T to have individual rubbish collection station at each floor/alternate floor, but some prefer the current situation of basement giant trash disposable room.
Either way, the building is already build and there is no way T&T going to add or renovate some space on each floor.
So all of us just have to accept that we are going to walk down every morning & after dinner to dump our trash. Mostlikely only us guys, the wifes are going to sit in i suppose. maybe the maids will handle for the bigger units.
Anyway, im glad we have somany owners (50 according to Danny) on this forum and we took the chance to talk bout this issue. All of us are spending our fortune in this SeriMaya hopping for the best living space.
So lets all agree to dump our trash in the civic & right manner and never polute the nice&clean corridors.
In the event we see other neighbours walking with dripping bags or dumping their trash at the "tiny ash tray bin next to the lift". GIVE HIM THE FINGER if you want. :jk: Just nicely tell him/her off to dispose their rubbish properly.
And take a picture of his smart face & put it on the forum :)
BTW how is the residence committee coming along? Danny you the leader right? :)

I happen to sneak inside someone punya unit. The owner tear down the wall for his 3rd bedroom then install hardwood floor in the entire unit. Tear down the wall for the 2nd bathroom as well. The thing is...the whole renno make his unit look so small. Donno why.

Major renno. Ha.ha...then the kitchen wall that saperate the yard also been tore down as well you know. Both of the bathroom totally new tiles, new everything. New timber door for each bedroom. Plaster ceiling for the whole unit. A wooden glass sliding door for the kitchen n all wooden build in cabinet with this huge gigantic block of mirror attached on the dining room where it cover half of the living n dining room. I have no idea how they can bring the mirror in one piece thru the elevator. So damn big.
Both of the bedroom as well, one side of the wall got this mirror that cover the whole side. From top to btm.

utopia0 October 8th, 2005, 05:05 PM Hi everyone!
Escapekl : my fiancee ask if you actually sit at the mamak drinking teh tarik  while watching the indons lay brick by brick? :jk:

About the renovation on that Jelatek aparment, I was actually thinking of putting in floor to ceiling mirrors for one of my walls in my main bedroom but my friends was telling me it's not good for feng shuei to sleep facing a large mirror, so oh well, guess have to rethink it....I'm not a big believer in feng shuei but I guess my girlfriend's parents i.e. future in-laws may not be too acceptable of it :)
gastrix October 10th, 2005, 04:42 AM Yes.
My contactor quoted me RM150 for installation, plumbing n wiring.
farid,
what brand is it? maybe will do some window shopping later.RM 150 is indeed affordable . Can we throw away all leftover foodstuf in it? including chicken & fishbones? If yes, I'll definitely buy one.
anybody installed bathtub to their master bathroom? Is it possible? I saw a bathtub on a U.S website with the length of 1530+ mm compared to our master bath of 1700 mm(havanna). Really hoping to have a bathtub in my unit.
p/s- Sorry, terribly busy yesterday, if not, surely will drop by SM and meet you, oh well, maybe another time.

I might go for TEKA brand for the waste disposal eventually. Yes, you can throw all the leftover inside it..but big chicken bones I have no idea...have to double confirm on that. But small bones n fish bones will be no issue ;)

farid, i think gastrix misunderstood u....
the disposer itself would cost around rm800-1000 depending on brand and horsepower.
the installation of the disposer is rm150 as mentioned by farid....
:)
in the food disposer everything pun can go in... food stuffs laa....
no plastic, no synthetic stuff... i think even big2 chicken bones should be ok... especially if its already cooked... lembut sikit kan?

actually i had the same intentions... on installing a TUB in the master bath.
hmmm.... at first it seems like a fantastic idea... but i had a tub at my parents place and have only used it ONCE! hehehee.....
so i guess... when ever i need to do some soaking i'll just go for a vacation la....
one more thing i personally have not done any research/look around for a tub that will fit the tiny space in havanna master bath.
well... good luck to you! :)

Gudness ;) The never ending Grohe shower system. Eh..you have a look at the Honda City already meh?
szehoong October 11th, 2005, 08:49 AM but that is some major renovation?!!! tearing down walls??? won't take compromise the whole apt structure integrity?
scare laaa if ppl tearing down anchor pillars/walls that could waeken the whole structure right? this is scary!
:-)
It is perfectly okay to tear down non-supportive walls. Supporting walls / pillars are made of reinforced concrete thus harder to be taken down. Furthermore all contractors knew these kind of things and they won't risk their own and their worker's life. So no worries :okay:

szehoong October 11th, 2005, 08:55 AM About the renovation on that Jelatek aparment, I was actually thinking of putting in floor to ceiling mirrors for one of my walls in my main bedroom but my friends was telling me it's not good for feng shuei to sleep facing a large mirror, so oh well, guess have to rethink it....I'm not a big believer in feng shuei but I guess my girlfriend's parents i.e. future in-laws may not be too acceptable of it :)
Actually many people had the misconception of mirror placement in a bedroom. The true 'bad feng shui' is when a mirror is directly facing the bed....that means you wake up facing the mirror. IN other places it should be fine. I did a bit of feng shui study on my own and I do not believe in some mumbo jumbo crap feng shui that many people claimed they knew.
My grandpa and grandma had have a huge mirrow facing them while they sleep for 25 years and nothing major had happened to them. Actually most feng shui are there for practical reasons as it is in fact a form of geomancy. It is what I would like to call ancient science. The mirror thingy is actually to prevent someone from scaring him/herself when they wake up. I personally had been jolted by this experience when sleeping in my grandparents rooms before hehehe :D
So the mirror thing is actually nothing but just to prevent some arguments from your future in-laws, I suggest you do away with the mirrow. ;)
szehoong October 11th, 2005, 09:02 AM You bought already??? so fast as usual..he..he...
the brand is : in-sink-erator? never heard of it before....
Teka uses In-Sink-Erator 'engine' for their waste disposal. ;)

ummm maybe you could put a blind on the yard, and hang the clothes there? or... if you have an empty room (esp one facing sunlight/lotsa windows for free flowing air), you could also use that. empty wardrobe would work too...
i think we all want to avoid hanging clothes at the lanai... spoil laaaaa

But I can see lot of unit owner especially the Lanai one have their clothes hanging at the lanai area.
Well..same goes to Jelatek as well
savanna11 October 12th, 2005, 05:24 AM that is the problem with us, the developer put in the dry yard and ppl want to convert it to a kitchen.
as long as the residents do not put their clothes on the lanai railing, i think it is still acceptable though ideally no clothes should even be dried on the balcony.
szehoong October 12th, 2005, 05:47 AM To those whom are not converting their yard area into an extention for the kitchen, try placing an aircond compressor there. Then dry your clothes in front of the compressor and you'll be surprised how fast the clothes are dried. ;)
Preferably 2 compressors stacking on top of another for maximum effect :D Of course the aircond needs to be running for the effect lah (gotta say this cos some people won't get it hahaha) :D
savanna11 October 12th, 2005, 06:43 AM szehoong,
like your sense of humour.
szehoong October 12th, 2005, 07:06 AM ^^ Hahaha...thanks! :D
I really have to mention switching on the aircond because there are really a lot of bizzarre people out there.
There is once when my friend asked me after seeing fir the first time a remote controlled ceiling fan (my family is one of the first to have em installed in 1998): "What if there's a power failure? Would the fan work?" :hilarious: For some reason.....many thinks that fans are not electric powered
ZaHiRnYa??? October 12th, 2005, 07:51 AM Well...give you friend a break okay...that thing back in 1998 was a new invention mah
adamismadi October 12th, 2005, 08:20 AM The remote controlled fan not using electric is very very funny indeed! LOL!
But the drying of clothes near an A/C compressor really does work like magic... esp like me i normally dry my clothes at night.... this is a very very good idea!

i have to say szehoong's suggestion is very practical hahaha... actually i've done it myself back in the states... :weirdo: although it's actually the heater instead of the aircond.. but it is still the same concept... not really sure if the air coming out of the aircond is 'dirtier' or not (non-filtered air maybe... i dunno).

savanna11 October 12th, 2005, 09:10 AM samah,
dun think the air coming out from the compressor is dirtier lah.... the wind is caused by the cooling fan in the compressor only. whatever air that comes out from the indoor unit is drawn from the room and filtered and it goes in a cycle, definitely not expelled from the outdoor unit.

savanna11 October 12th, 2005, 09:50 AM samah,
i hope i am right, haha
i think a washer and dryer should fit in the dry yard, usually the dryer is placed above the washer.

Yes...you're right. The air from inside your room doesn't goes out to the outdoor unit. The outdoor unit blows hotair from the 'hot coil' that are part of the refrigerant process. So the air blown by the outdoor unit is actually heated outdoor air. Hope I am explaning right too hahaha
escapekl October 12th, 2005, 11:24 AM Just went to take a look at the new development myHabitat, which has a showroom on the 59th floor of Empire Tower. Since my office is in Menara Citibank, thought I'd just walk there and take a look. Looks quite good but the prices are really steep, a 883 square feet fully furnished studio (1 bedroom + 1 study) apartment is priced at RM607,880 and the maintenance fee is 40cents a month. It's a service apartment concept cos it's built on commercial land. Hehe, from the showroom on the 59th floor there's a good view of Havanna being constructed and it gave me a good feeling cos it's a much lower price for a much bigger area of 1325 square feet and not much further to the city!

Aiks sorry tak nampak your reply ler :D........I wouldn't be able to tell you now cos only my contractor knows. Definitely 2-tone is more expensive than 1 tone lah cos the cat prices all increased liao. But I think the price is not too significant. Actually it is not a matter of how many tones your rooms has but how many colours overall your unit has :)
A clever solution to have two-tones in every spaces in your apt is to reuse the colours. Try not to have the same combi for the rooms and balanced out the colours so that no one colour that are overused ;)

smurfy October 16th, 2005, 05:30 PM Hellooo all,
After months of contemplation, I have finally purchased unit 5 Savanna. :) :) :) :)
Just wondering, if I take other bank loan (not UOB), how much interest (roughly) would I lose during the construction period? I know it's hard to estimate but I'm wondering if anyone have a rough idea on the amount of interest paid during construction?
savanna11 October 16th, 2005, 05:42 PM smurfy,
i believe it depends on the amount of loan you take up, so that will determine how much the bank will disburse during construction...the more it gives out the more interest.

why change ur mind? that table is fragile... if u want to move it, u have to carry (by 2 persons) it instead of pushing it.. ... . :sleepy:
Dont worry. No harm was done. I brought couple of my friend to see your lion fountain. Err...is it a fountain?
Bit expensive ler that table..but I do like the design of it.
samah October 17th, 2005, 04:27 AM guys,
was wondering if you could give some frank thoughts on seri maya's density. how dense is it compared to other similar developments (reputable developer, nice location). i think it may have been discussed earlier, but would be great if you guys could refresh on it a little bit more, now that savanna and havanna are coming. how many units would be in total against how many acres of land?
danny_maya October 17th, 2005, 09:14 AM guys,

about 1000 unit.
savanna11 October 17th, 2005, 09:28 AM samah,
when we discussed the matter not so long ago, we took into account havanna and savanna. do check up on previous postings.
should be around 1300 units in 16 acres .
ZaHiRnYa??? October 17th, 2005, 10:02 AM I believe it is more than that..
You see..a whole Havanna will have 873 unit unit. As Savanna is the exact replica, so both Havanna n Savanna will have 1752 unit altogether
Jelatek is a 20 storey floor with 6 unit per floor. For 2 tower it will be around 228 as the top floor is the penthouse duplex
Based on the map, the are 62 unit of Lanai per floor. 5 storey will make it roughly around 310 unit.
Added all, we are looking at around 2290 unit...for the whole area.
N that does not included the upcoming super bachelor pad block of tower behind the showroom yet.
savanna11 October 17th, 2005, 10:06 AM zahir,
i think you got it wronglah..total havanna and savanna 873 units lah...14 units per floor X 30-31(?) floors X 2 blocks - floor 21 is empty.
what is this studio block coming up?
szehoong October 17th, 2005, 10:16 AM I think Seri Maya might be too dense :(
savanna11 October 17th, 2005, 10:17 AM szehoong,
dun think zahir's figures are correct.
samah October 17th, 2005, 10:17 AM eheheh thanks for all the replies... yup i think it's lesser than 2200 units... around 1300-1400 maybe... given that number... and 16 acres... i was wondering about the facilities provided and whether they're enough to cater for all of us... pool, gym etc. how's SM compared to other similar developments then?
ZaHiRnYa??? October 17th, 2005, 10:19 AM zahir,

Eh...is it??? hmm...they shouldn't printed it out that the back of the brochure like that mah...876 unit per tower.
Well...yes, that make sense with 876 over the 2 tower. Still it make up around 1400 ++ unit liao.
Donno ler when the studio block coming up. But the area cleared up already wor.
savanna11 October 17th, 2005, 10:25 AM samah,
i bleieve the facilities should be adequate..you know lah hangat hangat tahi ayam only.....as time goes by less people will use the facilities.
ZaHiRnYa??? October 17th, 2005, 10:45 AM N I have not use any of the facilities yet ;)
szehoong October 17th, 2005, 10:48 AM szehoong,
dun think zahir's figures are correct.
He might be mistaken but I was in Seri Maya yesterady and I think that it is very dense ;)....even without the two taller ones!
ZaHiRnYa??? October 17th, 2005, 10:59 AM Told u already mah..still dont wanna believe me :)
savanna11 October 17th, 2005, 05:45 PM i know why SM looks dense (barring the two new blocks being constructed), it is becos of the long structures of the lanai. though low rise, the length of the blocks make the place look congested.
JH October 17th, 2005, 06:08 PM Gudness...I thought you were talking about Sentral Loft liao..ha..ha...:hilarious:
Jelatek ler...ha.ha..can tell u which floor. Indeed very very impressive. N the kitchen is all white in color.
But not my cup of tea :D
Hi all,
I am new comer to this forum and would like to find out more info this unit..impressive unit...don't mind to let me know which block and floor?
JH October 17th, 2005, 06:10 PM What time you were there? You went inside?
I believe so. That is the parcel of land for the studio block.
any idea any the prices (roughly) for this studio block?
koktsin October 17th, 2005, 06:11 PM Dont worry. No harm was done. I brought couple of my friend to see your lion fountain. Err...is it a fountain?
hmm.. got water will come out from the lion mouth... hmm... a mini fountain i suppose.. haha :)
JH October 17th, 2005, 06:13 PM But tearing up a wall is very expensive one liao :(
depend on how big is the wall...if kitchen wall, then less than 1K should be enough...
JH October 17th, 2005, 06:15 PM hihi
no place to hang my clothes... any suggestions for me? beside dryer
i can give you a very good and practical idea...use air cond compression as your dryer ...1 stone kill 2 birds....very effective....
JH October 17th, 2005, 06:17 PM ummm maybe you could put a blind on the yard, and hang the clothes there? or... if you have an empty room (esp one facing sunlight/lotsa windows for free flowing air), you could also use that. empty wardrobe would work too...
i think we all want to avoid hanging clothes at the lanai... spoil laaaaa
but some of the tenants/owners still hang their clothes in Lanai...very ugly...they got the WARNING from the mgmt but still do it...
JH October 17th, 2005, 06:20 PM To those whom are not converting their yard area into an extention for the kitchen, try placing an aircond compressor there.
1H of air cond run for 8 hours more than enough...wash your cloth at night time and on your air-cond and sleep. The next day all will dry....and can keep you clothes already...away from all dust...
JH October 17th, 2005, 06:22 PM Eh.....bila you free? This whole week I am stayin at my apartment......drop by if you are free ;)
And what chimney? :D
don't mind to let me know yr unit?
JH October 17th, 2005, 06:25 PM i have to say szehoong's suggestion is very practical hahaha... actually i've done it myself back in the states... :weirdo: although it's actually the heater instead of the aircond.. but it is still the same concept... not really sure if the air coming out of the aircond is 'dirtier' or not (non-filtered air maybe... i dunno).
so far didn't hear any complaint about "dirtier" issue as I have seemed quite some of the people practise and until today still survive...just imagine if the air from the compressor is dirty, then we are living in dirty world....maybe can do so research...
JH October 17th, 2005, 06:32 PM tmr i will be there... around 11 i think...
your unit is very nice...is your renovator Modern Sense that have the showroom at groud floor in Lanai?
ZaHiRnYa??? October 18th, 2005, 06:56 AM i know why SM looks dense (barring the two new blocks being constructed), it is becos of the long structures of the lanai. though low rise, the length of the blocks make the place look congested.
Is it..hmm...
ZaHiRnYa??? October 18th, 2005, 07:02 AM Hi all,
I am new comer to this forum and would like to find out more info this unit..impressive unit...don't mind to let me know which block and floor?
Err...I rather not enclosed which floor is this unit. Just enuff to say that it is one of the Jelatek unit ;)
Sorry for that.
ZaHiRnYa??? October 18th, 2005, 07:07 AM depend on how big is the wall...if kitchen wall, then less than 1K should be enough...
It's okay. I dont plan to tear up any wall. Want it to remain like what it is now :D
ZaHiRnYa??? October 18th, 2005, 07:31 AM don't mind to let me know yr unit?
I PM you already. ;) check ur mailbox.
ZaHiRnYa??? October 18th, 2005, 07:45 AM but some of the tenants/owners still hang their clothes in Lanai...very ugly...they got the WARNING from the mgmt but still do it...
