i guess u must use ur scooter often...

i might need a scooter as well so that i could keep my car shiny and clean at home! hehehe...

I only drive my car on Wednesday n Friday only. N if it is happen to be working Saturday. The rest of the day I ride my scooter. Park it at Menara n take Maybank bus to Shah Alam. ;)

Safe cost. Save my petrol n save my toll :D

The Kg. Warisan view of Savannah block seems to be almost fully purchased or booked with multiple names on the waiting list. I got mine at the old price and on great terms just in the nick of time.

I think that was the same case when Havanna was launch. The inner view of Maya fully booked with multiple names.

You must be one hell of a lucky guy. I love Kampung Warisan view as well. Very soothing ;)

just for info, all savanna purchasers have the option of having an instant rebate of RM13,000 for the kitchen set and cabinets.

but i wonder why there is a price hike for savanna? luckily i may a quick (and hopefully wise) decision to purchase a kg warisan/genting view unit several weeks back. will be signing my S&P sometime this week.

OMG ! what a deal ! HEY ! Do you think you can help me out? Can you create another ruckus for me and get the exact same deal ?

Bummer! Ignore me! I didn't read properly PutraMayan, the 5% for bumiputera...ahhh...*sob sob* Too bad for me :(

Such a silly guy, went there trying to bargain for 5% off for Savanna :bash:

Yeah I got to know about the RM13,000 rebate too, but do you all think RM13,000 for 3 wardrobes and kitchen cabinets are overpriced? RM13,000 includes aircond too right?

savanna11
August 30th, 2005, 08:29 AM
rusell,

no, the aircons are standard items and come with the unit.

yes, the RM13K is a bit overpriced judging from the quality of the kitchen and wardrobes in the show unit.

Good luck in signing the SnP. So, you also going to Jeyaratnam n Chong then.

I believe the price hike is only applicable for certain unit that face certain view. Since those unit have multiple potential buyer n waiting list, there is not harm for them to hike up the price since there is a demand for that. Beside, they need that to overcome the potential discount that they might have to endure to promote the non sellable unit that face the undesirable view.

Yup. Legal fee are pretty standard this day since the involvement of Bar Council that really enforce the rules of no discount. Still can get discount here n there, but not as generous as last time around.

Your bank loan is it with UOB? Usually SnP lawyer n bank lawyer will be from different law firm.

UOB told me their lawyer is also Jeyaratnam. Maybe there are others in their panel. The UOB guy told me my loan has been approved and that was the last I heard from him.

The aircon in the master room is also 1HP? Cukup cooling power tak?

Zahir, you can achieve enormous color effects by painting your walls one color and doing the ceiling in a lighter shade of the same color. :) I think this would work especially well in a modern building like the one you're moving into.

depends on which floor you staying & what unit. If you open the window, you should get some wind at night. the higher u stay will be cooler.

If your unit is facing evening sun, then it will be hot. You might want to cool down your room an hour before you sleep & most likely you need another aircorn in the living room if you are the type that sweat alot.

If your unit is morning sun, should be okay. only the morning from 9am - 2pm hot. So weekend need to full blast aircorn if you staying home.

As for those who has no Sun at all.... enjoy the savings in TNB bills.

Zahir, you got evening Sun if im not wrong, KLCC is evening sun. is it hot?
I think my unit will be fine. i got no sun at all. unit 10. but need to get dryer :)

Did a "dry run" of my commute from my KLCC office to Seri Maya at today's Merdeka Day-enhanced evening rush hour. Left the KLCC basement parking at 5.12pm, took the Elevated Highway up to the Jelatek exit and arrived at the Seri Maya driveway guardhouse at 5.29pm -- not bad.

The only gridlock :gaah: was at the infamous ~500m stretch from the point where the Elevated Highway offramp merges with Jalan Jelatek up to the second Keramat traffic light. Otherwise, its plain sailing.

Did the LRT trial last week -- 4 stops from KLCC to Seri Maya's doorstep. No sweat ... but mostly standing room only of course.

Where do you guys/gals work? Whats the commute time/distance between your office and your present/future home in Seri Maya? Is Farid the marathon commute champ? Who has the shortest commute to/from Seri Maya? I recall someone works at GEM?

Raymond will have the fastest commute to work. he works in GEM. think he said bout 15min to work & 4 min to go home. He will be going home during lunch time to see his wife & bb!

Putra, you plan to drive to work? i think KLCC still can drive, wont be too long journey even if jam. maybe 30min. But LRT will be faster, just have to stand.

i will be taking LRT the rest of my life i think. no point driving to Masjid Jamek area unless i need to. but the journey will be Stand Stand Stand. I was told by my colleague he takes the LRT down to Wangsa maju or the last station & switch back just to get a seat. Sometimes he has to let 3 - 5 train pass just to get in. :bash:

i think next time alot of us will be taking LRT. maybe we will be walking in group to the station from the guardhouse. hahaha

Zahir: RM4888 lifetime + RM88 renewal per year is still cheap. Did you sign up during promotion or what? Yeah, unit 6 havanna I mean. Nope, not decided yet, am eyeing those one of those savanna units facing kampung warisan, but still working out on the budget....like everybody says here, need to be doubly sure here as this is a lifetime commitment....so you work in the bank right...with the low interest, probably you can buy a few more property for investment...hehehehe.....

Adam: I mean level 2 as stated in the sales list. I thought since the duplex unit occupied 2 floors on the ground, so level 2 might not be on the 2nd floor right....I know I sound confusing...hehehe :runaway:

Putramaya: What do you mean by people on the waiting lists? I thought once you have paid the RM5K deposit, the unit is already yours?

Smurf, the people on the waiting list was BEFORE one of them actually turns-up at the Sales Office with Ca$h, Cheque, CC to pay the deposit. Upon payment of the deposit, of course lah, the "waiting list" will dissolve into thin air.

You know, this waiting list saga is a story in itself. I originally wanted Level 7 of Unit 4 (Kg. Warisan view) - higher than the Lanai VII block (~10m to its side) but low enough to enjoy the SM garden/landscaping. There were four others on the waiting list. I got an SMS at 9.10am to go to the Site/Sales Office to pay my deposit ASAP. BUT ..... had to attend one of those Dilbert-type meetings over nothing until 11.30am. Turned-up at the sales office at noon only to see a well-endowed gelang-laden kakak :nono: already signing the papers for the said Unit D-07-04. Was told later she's a Petronas staffer, who like many of her colleagues seems to naturally gravitate towards SM. With oil touching US$70 per barrel and HUGE Petronas bonuses anticipated, these oil people (+ hoards of obscenely-paid oil industry expats/consultants :drunk: now coming in to prospect previously uneconomical offshore blocks) are going to bid up the price of our SM units (both completed and u/c). :naughty:

Actually the original price for infinity is RM6888 plus tax. But that day they have this 3 day promotion for that price n I took the chances even if the truth hold, I rather use that money for the house...but then again..it happen already. no need to regret.

Ha..ha..i can only enjoy one house under staff loan, n already exercise it. I do have another one, but that one I rented it out for 1.2k. so far so good. now eeying on a low cost apartment at Taman Melati, a join venture with friend n wanna see how it goes from there.

r u sure the morning sun will enter the unit from 9am to 2pm?

have anyone here installed a cassette type of aircon before?

i dont think the Sun will get into the living or room much. As the Lanai is wide & i think most of us will have the wooden blinds on the lanai, And the room will have curtain.

Your concern wont be the Sun light, but the heat which u cant block. You can have blinds & curtain for the direct sunlight. But you cant block the heat that will be trapped in the concrete wall.

If you have morning or evening sun, chances is most of the heat will be trapped on the wall. So when you come home after7pm, your unit will actually be hot as the wall start to release the heat :bash:

HHmmnn..today must be one of the rare occassion. Took me about 35 mins to get to the office but I also noticed that there was no policeman to man the section of Setiawangsa & Jelatek traffic light. Hopefully this is just today & not a long term thing.

What time was that?

haloooo

i've been reading the SM posts for the past few days and you guys are an interesting bunch. :) :) lotsa wisdom to be gained here.

currently i'm eyeing a savanna unit minus furnishing on the 10th floor, unit 11, facing the mindef apts. wish i cud go for a better view  but my financial says no for the moment. i'm only 23.

here's the plan.

1) am taking UOB's package, so save money till savanna's completion in 2008 (around 15 - 20 k)
2) furnish
3) put up for rent for at least 2 - 2.3K to cover installment and service charge, maybe top up the installment a little bit to reduce interest and payment time

questions are

1) is the plan feasible? how does it sound to you guys?
2) how much furnishing can i expect from 15-20 K? (think for expat rental... what do they want)
3) how much appreciation can i expect in say 3 to 5 yrs?
4) how attractive would my place be to prospective tenant/buyer given the view and floor level?
5) since i'm already facing mindef, is it better to go few floors below and enjoy the landscape instead? or are there any more lower floor units facing inside SM on savanna? budget's pretty tight - max 303 K.

objective is

1) self paying property, while increasing in value

man that's a heapload of Qs. appreciate any response. just wanna learn from you guys.

Why dont you look for Havanna then. Slightly cheaper you know ;)
N some of the unit also facing Mindef apartment.
N you can also take up the UOB's package as well.

welcome to the forum samah!!!

yeah you should be looking at havanna.... its 10% cheaper than the savanah. plus i think u can even get futher discounts if u are buying the mindef facing unit!!!!
it probably will cost around 260k-280k if u buy the havanna unit. go ask them for the remaining havanna unit they are very desperate to sell those so u should ask for more discounts from them....

hehe...I love the Vogue Apartment Living magazines. Very inspiring. As for Impiana..too much of mix and match..where got me money to buy this and that :D

Nice choice of color..I just painted my room(rented another place closer to work) dark grey color with kiwi green as a feature wall. So small the room..definitely need a feature wall. I'm using Nippon..smells much better :D

Wah....rented a room ar? So now you got Internet access there or not or you're still using office punya? :?

As for Impiana's interior......if you notice, most of the interior festured are 'mature' ones. You can't get interiors like that overnight (unless you're rich).Even with the money....you can't really get the feel and the coziness because such interiors are well-seasoned ;) ....then again also depends on your artsy and design acumen :D

Anyway most nice interiors starts from bare ones .......you collect your decor as time passes. :) Of course unless you have deep pockets lah hehehehe

Hmm..what do u have in mind. Do you mean both side of the wall with the same color tone or one wall with different color n the other one as the feature wall, n the ceiling with a lighter color altogether?

I need to find a right color to match my sofa n dining table :(

I would prefer to see an interior with a dual tone wall colour. WH had a good idea on ceiling but if your budget doesn't permit for a 3-toned interior, then just leave the ceiling white. Should you wanna paint all 3 colours yourself......be sure to start off with the ceiling ;)

Actually you made a tinnie winnie mistake there but it shouldn't be much of a problem as you're still at an 'early' stage. You should decide on the colours before buying your furniture. Your colours should be in harmony with your furniture. Being in harmony meaning that it either matching or in contrast. ;)

As the damage is now done......justtry to match the colours to your furniture. It is hard to picture the colour of your furniture as I need to see em first but just trust your feelings loh for now. Unless you could show em to me here then I could offer you a second opinion ;)

As for those whom had not renovate ....please take note: Decide on the theme, colour or concept before buying any decorative stuffs (including lightings) and furniture. It would safe ya the headache for the months or years to come. The most important thing is that do not shop like a woman! ( sorry......no offence to our ladies here but hehehehe.....its the truth! :D ). Buy things that suits your concept and not because it is cheap (sale items!). You get something that is not suitable and you have to face it for a long logn time to come so better think twice ;)

If you do not have the budget and have to use your existing furniture, then you have a bit of headache but sometimes that can be to your advantage too as old furniture sometimes are good for fickle-minded fellas :D But then again......older furniture tend to lend a more 'exotic' feel to the interior. So if you're using any older furniture or decor piece, forget about zen-like interior or ultra-contemporary kind. Unless you wanna make your old furniture a contrast or a conversational piece then different story lah :)

I dont believe that it was a mistake ler. It can be either way liao. If you choose to paint the wall first, then you have to seek n look for a sofa that match the color of the interior..which is hard IMHO cause maybe there are sofa that you like, but they dont have the color that you like.

That is why lor I bought the sofa in the first place..then only I can seek the color to match the wall. If worst come to worst, stick to the original color lor like that..much more easier ;)

Nope......it is definitely easier to decide on your colour scheme first (colour scheme meaning not necessary just the walls but all other things as well)......so you could coordinate better. Actually you shouldn't even paint first.......decide on the sofa and the wall colour then only you do either one. But lets say your sofa can't wait then you buy it first......put it somewhere or still keep it in wraps until you finish painting the walls ;)

Actually NEVER let your furniture decide on the more permanant fixtures such as wall paint, ceiling works, floor or even wall finishings because furniture are disposable and they are not fixed. Furthermore they are always cheaper than your room renovation and they are easily obtainable. Remember that there are always a variant of a piece of furniture that you like as there are so many manufacturer and retailers out there. Of course unless your said furniture is the centrepiece of the interior space and that it cost thousands then you can have everything else evolves around it ;)

Imagine .....you choose your sofa liao and now not only you have to match the wall colours to your sofa but also the lights, carpet, curtains etc...etc..... :D What about the connecting walls which the colour would also have to match your living room's and also the doors and stuffs like that? :?

I suggest you post a picture here or that you show it to me when I come over so that I could give ya a second opinion :)

Hi, Zahir & sze!

If I remember correctly, Zahir already bought a black sofa and a table of a light yellow color, am I right? :) Now I figure the sofa color is neutral and he can do just about any color with it, while the light yellow might present a slight problem, but it doesn't lock you in--still lots of possibilities.

I must admit I'm totally in the dark about what a "feature wall" is. :dunno:

A feature wall is the attention of the room. From the paint-a-feature-wall aspect, it would the option by "lazy" ones who just want to paint one wall yet lives up the room. Can't really explained but here are some pics:

hows life so far?

so far, there is a big huge crack on my 2nd bedroom that i just notice. it was not there earlier. going to lodge a defects with the developer soon. i don't think it is any thing critical. very likely it is just the outer layer of the paint or cement expanding or contracting, thus causing the crack from ceiling to floor. really hope it is not structural.

the one problem that i seem to have is entering and exiting the car park. they seem to be fixing the exit at the other end (near block M) all the time. don't know what is wrong there.

otherwise, so far so good. great place to stay. really hope it stays that way.

out of curiousity, is the aircon point in the living room a power point or, a switch point with the wiring already embedded in the wall up to the point of installation of the indoor unit? Cos, if it is a power point then when the aircon is installed, one has to either hack the wall to conceal the wiring or use casing.

real estate agents mostly are like this one, they call you telling you they have potential customers. (which they do not) This way you wont go look for your own tenant/buyer. When you found one, they will tell you they had a better price. In the end it won't materialise...

I learn it for my apartments which i rent out... 3 of them FU**ers said the same thing.
This is just my opinion,(not on all of them hence i mention the word mostly) bcoz of my experience.. Just be wary and if got ppl want to buy/rent direct frm you, go ahead..

You have to find your way to hide those cabling work and minimize the hacking. I found the way. If your unit has a plug point at the living area and behind the walls is the yard area. then you are lucky to do min hacking works. just drill a hole thru the back of the plug point then from behind do 2 feet hacking at the yard wall then drill a hole out to the compressor area. by doing that u will be able to hide the cable using the casing at the balcony area to the fan unit. mind u , please check if the line of hacking are free from water piping or elec cables. dont have the "main" switch though but always can switch on/off at the miniature curcuit breaker .

September 14th, 2005, 06:45 AM
(almost) norm is more like it.

I use the Besraya Hiway in the morning to get to the city and i notice that there will be a jam near the exit at the Sungai Besi airport for a few days every few weeks then the traffic flow improves again. My theory is that drivers start to find alternative routes to beat the jam and then come back to besraya again several weeks later when the other routes begin clog up. I hope this is true, and it also applies to the jelatek area.

well, definitely can try to get the developer to fix it for you as it's their fault that the walls, ceiling and everything else are not even. i actually didn't notice the 'unevenness' till the built-in cabinet guys told me about it as they were having difficulties in trying to fix up the cabinets. some areas are ok i.e. the 'unevenness' wasn't that bad while some areas are like horrible. what to do. the cabinets were already up. just have to live with it.

a TMNET officer told me that is a goverment requirement that all new projects has a TM phone line and Streamyx available on top of any other fixed line provider or internet access provider.

so if SM do not have Streamyx/Telekom line we can always report this to Telekom.

definitely got telekom line as just a few weeks ago, the condo service set up a booth for telekom to register new phone users. about streamyx, i guess there is cause got telekom line. only question is how long have to wait for it.

as for maya package by macrolynx that comes with an ip phone, i honestly think they are so-so only. i've been experiencing no internet connections intermitently, usually there will be no connections for about a couple of hours and then the line is up again. so this cycle goes on and on. and the ip phone is better still. certain numbers i can't call at all. can call handphones but when i tried to call pj numbers, the phone will prompt no service message. weird, really weird. going to complain to macrolynx real soon. the way i see it, i think streamyx still gives a better service (maybe tm sucks too as i don't have broadband before) while macrolynx offer a cheaper package.

^^ This map (and the rest of Malaysia) is about 2 years old. If I am not mistaken it should be dated to late 2003 till early 2004 ;)

I am not too sure how often Google does their updates (depending on region I guess) but the US maps are all kinda up-to-date. They even have the pre and post Katrina imageries!

One thing for sure.....I am not complaining as satellite imagery is not cheap and I am quite contended even with a 2 years old image :D Furthermore the program is marvelous to use and as we are speaking, some governments in the world are trying to restrict Google Earth's imageries as it reveals their military hardware :D

if i'm not mistaken, the agreement is for 1 year. so i'm not sure what is the consequences if you terminate early. of course we have all the reasons to terminate their rather terrible services but there is a contract of 1 year with them. should check on that first.

i'll be going to telekom soon to register a cooper line as i just cannot depend on the ip phone. sucks is the only word i can use for the ip phone. as for the broadband, i guess it is a situation of you pay peanuts and you get monkeys. sigh..............just don't know what else to say about macrolynx..........streamyx will be hearing from me soon (if the contract can be terminated early or in 1 year's time).

definitely. they do response to my complaints promptly and so the connection is up then but after a while, the connection goes down again. so, i don't really understand why. maybe because they are a private broadband company, their connection greatly depends on the main isp players i.e. jaring, tm and time. anyhow, i've already entered agreement with them for a year, so will just honour that 1 year and then move on probably to tm.

any one has any bad experience with tm, please share with all of us. definitely don't want another heartache as well as headache. cheers!

serimayan,
get them to send a techician to check out your connection and whatever equipment that is installed in SM. Is the macrolynx system wireless ( externally, I dont mean within your house) .

out of the blue my broadband connection (provided by a private company) was giving intermittent transmission as well and after numerous phonecalls and two visits by the technician to inspect their equipment in the server room in my condo, finally the guy visited my place, rewired the connection and the matter is now resolved.

in your case,it must be some technical glitch somewhere, could it be your pc? looking at the list of condos that macrolynx is providing its service (including some high end properties) , it cant be that bad i am sure.

Sometimes it is better to submit into the incumbent telco because they can really torture 3rd party telco. Let say I am A Telco and I have an interconnect problem with TM and most times, these people would take thier own sweet time to fix things.

In all fairness to TM.....their Streamyx had been getting good marks from me :okay: Recently I called in to have my modem changed (I subscrib to the package that comes with the modem because my area is so darn prone to lightning), and they did a good job attending to me (except the troubleshooting part). I called in at about 1pm so I tot that they would probably go to my house to change the modem tomorrow or so (my previous experiences was usually the next day which is darn impressive for TM!). No ...they din come the next day but 3 hours later!!!!! I was SHOCKED! :D

As I didn't inform my mom about that (I didn't expect it that soon mah), she tot that it was a regular telekom thingy so she said nothing spoil. The technician managed to call me after that and apologised because he had left my phone number in his office so he can't call me. He came the next day to have the modem changed! :okay:

that's is impressive of telekom or by any company's service level standard, to actually response in 3 hours time. i mean it's not like they called to acknowledge that they received your complaint but they actually send a technician over to fix the problem. gosh, now i'm really having second thoughts of moving over to telekom products.............

^^ Yea......both my office and home uses Streamyx and both are in different areas so different service personnels. 2 months back, my office Streamyx connection went bust so I called em in the morning (I think at about 9:30am). The technician came at around 2pm! Previously (about 8 months back) they came the following day but soming on the same day is kinda impressive.

My home modem had been changed like 5 times since 2002 :D At first it was usually within 24 hours that the technician would come but my recent experience was WHOA! :D

The cust serv is friendly but when I called in and tell em what's wrong and all the troubleshooting I've done, they still ask me some very basic questions....silly IMO! :bash: But they are friendly nonetheless so I am not so annoyed after that :D

Even TM's regular phone line services too gets good service remarks from me. A few years back......the phone line connection to my house got disconnected due to seasoned wires. So I called up and they turned up at my front door the next day! So very untypical of TM's earlier history......I still remember that when I was little that TM's personnel would take their own sweet time to come and after fixing some form of 'coffee money' had to be given. The last time they came over to my place, my mom tried giving em RM20 as a token of appreciation - guess what? They refused saying that it is their job!!! It still freaks me out hahahahaha!!! :D

ANyway my new apartment at Venice Hill still had no phone lines despite having CF since December and the handover of keys since February. They told the management that they do not have enuf cable! The next block just across the road got phone lines for eons liao! So again there's always a let down on TM's part :bash:

i am around... reading the forum daily.... hehehehe....
the loan not yet 100% paid to developer laa... i think only when they get CF it will be 100% paid....

btw.... have u heard the news?? your bank is buying stakes in my bank....
aiyoo..... a lot of people are feeling uncertain of this activity....
is it a merger?
is it a hostile take over?
or is it only a symbiotic kinda thing where by both party benefits....

i am feeling kinda low in morale lately by this uncertainty....
btw your bank's bonus has been announced eh?? 2.25 - typical pay out.
i hope u get much much more than that!

my bank might be declaring a net loss this year.... to write off RM500 million of bad debts... hence we will not be getting any bonus at all!!??? this has never ever happened to this bank! normally every year also get bonus.... sigh....

but everything will be totally out in the open in 30th sept, they will publish the financial reports....
now i have to sit tight and get ready for the shock waves.... :runaway:

of course mah..not fully completed yet what...still dont have to pay 100% ;)

hmm...didnt heard the news about Maybank buying stakes in your bank. Honestly I didnt know. Maybe this couple of days the news will spread out n one will know the truth.

I dont think it will be another merger. It might, but I believe the merger will be with another bank. U mean symbiotic due to?

Hmm..maybe to strengthen the Islamic Banking in general...well Kuwait Finance House already open its first branch n another 2 coming up...it can be one of the reason.

Net loss? Can it be one of the reason of the whole hun ha stuff?

Yeah. 2.25%. Cannot say anything wor. Bit sad as well

Nope.....My old condo got and it is only 5 floors :D

Anyway we have a garbage room with a big bin. And the workers empty the garbage room twice a day everyday!

Well......my condo is a rehabilitated project so nothing to shout about......but I just can't imagine taking the lift to throw rubbish anymore. Did that for an entire year during my student days in New Zealand and it is a bit tiresome plus the garbage area stinks man :dizzy:

I dunno leh but NZ rubbish do not have the watery stuffs Malaysian rubbish got eventhough my apartment all Malaysians........could be the eating habit and the things we buy

^^ szehoong, I'm glad we see eye to eye on that garbage chute stuff. :)

And I'm also glad that you had that disposal thingie installed in your unit, Zahir. :okay:

But on the whole I really can't see dozens and dozens of tenants dragging their garbage all the way down to some central collection place near the parking facility.

I still think chutes are a good idea (there was a central one on each floor in New York in our 6-floor apartment building), and sze's setup sounds good, too.

Maybank not allowed to apply for islamic license? interesting.
maybe is a policy to prevent maybank from monopoly. or BNM just forcing maybank to buy up other bank that is own by PNB

where is kuwait financial house branch located?

at the condo where i am currently living, there are garbage disposal rooms on each floor but the residents voted for them not to be opened. we all dispose of the rubbish in the central room located at ground level away from the apartment blocks and i have not seen any dripping all over the place including the lifts. if you think about it , if anywhere, the dripping will start from the kitchen, along the corridor leading to the entrance, so if the resident doesnt do the job of sealing the garbage bag properly, his/her house will be hit first. no matter if there is garbage chute and/or rooms or not.

having said that, of course there will always be a small minority who will choose to be "rebellious" and do the opposite , jusr like people who defaced walls, etc.

^^ Yea.....accidents do happen. What if the bag suddently burst or something likte that? I dunno bout you but after a year of disposing rubbish, I think it is a little inconvenient if one have to walk and take the lift down to the basement to dispose garbage especially when you are paying a rather expensive maintenance fees.

I am not too what is the reason for the residents to vote for the disposal rooms not to open but mine sure doesn't stink (as long as they frequently clean the room & empty the garbage) and my floor now had about 40 residents (some units have rather 'large' student population). ;)

someone said that they are slowing down the havanna's progress.... and speeding up savanah!....

i think by now havanna has passed the 30th floor mark....
after seeing the satellite google photo.... i can totally see that i made the right choice to buy the unit 10. not unit 11 i think.... because unit 11 will face the mindef apts directly.... as in really face to face!!!!
my unit 10 will not be as exposed.... huh... lega!
