Bellaria Residences. What the hell is this?

Thankfully it's in Vaughan but still. Is this 1982? The park idea is nice but the whole thing looks like a lot of wasted space, not pedestrian friendly and just really bad architecture. The placement and size of the buildings are all wrong. The project will be located at Rutherford & Jane.

Looks like there will be four buildings. I wonder if that's gold on the roof

It joins the league of Tuscany Gates In Missi, Eden Park Living, Rennaisance in Olde Brampton, NY Towers, and anything by St. Gabe thing by Shane Baghai for being bad pre-cast architecture and not pedestrian friendly. But I guess it's impossible to be pedestrian friendly in the suburbs. ;)

The park thing seems nice, but is more of a Dubai thing with 100s towers instead of two stumpy looking things. :(

The crass architecture suits the area with neighbouring Vaughan Mills and Wonderland a block or two to the north - Welcome to Vaughan City Centre

It's for people who don't care about the typical urbanite's idea of sophistication, and want to feel like they are living in the luxury of times gone by.

The large park is fascinating, and I think the GTA will get more pedestrian friendly projects soon enough.
