well in the video it says it will have 3 underground parking storys, 4 storys for shopping and 2 for food courts and resturanst. that makes it 6 storys above ground.

btw do you know how many kanals its being made on and wen the the tower be completed.

It has 16-storey but 13 will be over ground, its a nice project, has alot of facilities, I think its big enough because land on MM Alam is extremely expensive, thats why Pace MM Alam is also very small.

Nayyar AD is considered to be one of the best architects of Pakistan yet i dont no what wrong with him that he cannot put up some good rendering on this site. Its not for the first time he has dont it n i dont no what make stops him.....but it cm he'z kindov scared of the fact that if he displays a few good rendering his design will be copied....and his position will decline....

A couple of months bak we had this assignement in class to visit renowed architects in lahore and get some office details aswell as their previous n ongoing projects.....n my classfellow got the chance to visit nayyar....we all got the rendering....i went to nespak n they gave me full detail n rendering of the INTERANATIONAL projects.....but guess wat~! this classfellow of mine wuznt able to get a single rendering out of Nayyars office....Man~!! well my classfellow's father is an architect n i asked him the plans of the Al-Hafeez centre [the one on MMAlam] for another assignment of mine....n i got all plans of 6 floors~! he could have stopped himself from not giving but he did give it......so i suggest nayyar should give up his habit n look forward to give way to the new generation of Architects....realizing the fact he isnt gonna b at the top fer eva.......!!

I don't really see how the design of this building is creative, and a challege for other architects in Pakistan. To be honest, its a 'Dabba' lol

Lahore's buildings shold be In lahori style. Lahore has always been a unique city and its modern skyscrapers should also be unique and not common like in other cities of the world

The steel mesh is being made for the pile foundation. Each pile has a mesh diameter of 18inches and will be surrounded by 3 inches of concrete so the total dia is 24inches.

The mouth of the machine. It has got a cutter edge at the bottom which rotates drilling a hole in the ground. They were about 250 piles to be dug.....only 9 have been dug up n filled with concrete yet. Each has a depth of about 75-80feet.

‘Cineplex’ to be built on MM Alam Road

LAHORE: The JS Developers and Cinepax have signed an agreement to build a modern cineplex on MM Alam Road, said JS Developers Chairman Dr Javed Akram on Monday.

JS Developers Chief Executive Officer Dr Shehla Javed Akram, who is also president of the Women’s Chamber of Commerce, and Cinepax Chief Executive Officer Saad Ahsanuddin signed the agreement at the under-construction Vogue Towers on MM Alam Road.

The multiplex cinema would be built in the Vogue Towers, Dr Javed said, “Cinepax is leasing the third flour for an international standard five screen cinema.” He said that latest film releases by Disney, Paramount and Universal would be shown at the cinema. The third floor would be made up of five lounges for different movies, one of which would be a red lounge with facilities like tea, snacks and blankets, he said, adding that te prices of tickets would be between Rs 175 and Rs 910.

“The new theatre is aimed at offering healthier entertainment to people and they will be able to see world class movies in a family-like atmosphere,” Dr Javed told Daily Times and said that plans for a mini Disneyland at the towers had also been made.

He said that Vogue Towers would be completed in 14 months and contain eight restaurants, a shopping mall and multinational firms’ offices. “Nayyer Ali Dada has designed the tower and Smith and Mysber, a Canadian company, will assist him in making the third floor,” he added.

the local industry is improving, there are good films coming out, it would take about 5 more years to get it improved but they need cinemas to show there good films.

we do have gud architects in pakistan.....but there are many problems in our society n investor which restricts the architect from comin out with smth world class......taking examples of the investors over here.....their approach is profit oriented only as a result they pay lesser attention to desging n more toward the net output......

Nayyar doesnt designs anymore....his assistants do that fer him.....
we can design smth like Atkins or Foster but apart from limiting factor the ideas n concept are far more critised than promoted.......only bigger investors or foreign assosiates can hire world class architect for some mega project

we have many architect in paki who r working in different sectors.....
housing commercial industrial interiors but there are not so many mega projects in pakistan that would be dealing more with upgradign or reshaping of our environment.....everything over here is in long or short terms related to benefit a few group of ppl instead of the society....therefore the society has become too congested with the repeated old n not so modern designs.......!!! but lets hope 4 da best in future!!

nope.. fedex office is near ghalib market... this one goes through hussain chowk intersecting mm alam road and than go towards liberty..

the road that goes from hussain chowk to liberty chowk is the liberty road i think, but thats in a mess is well and needs a redevelopment plan is well.

Yes, I can see that. I just wanted to know the name of the market, if it has one. Seeing the kind of outlets it has, I thought it's probably a popular place.

This is MM Alam Road and No these shops are not the part of any specific market or building. this small road has dozens of such outlets and restaurants, probably the most in lahore.

These are American-small-town-style stores (in their construction/layout) which is why I like them. You won't find these in Karachi.

yep they both are on the same road but the location of vougue tower is much better than mall99 coz it very near to hussain chowk and liberty market

But i think evey place on MM Alam road has same value. Mall99 is right in front of Depilex...

100% true.. our total construction company is based on this formula...

i am happy with them atleast they are working on it.instead of nothing any orther updates on other MM ALAM road projetc like mall 99 ,ali tower etc
