Winnipeg doesn't have a large black population. A little over 11,000, but most are concentrated downtown or in nearby neighbourhoods, especially in this area:

We seem to be getting a lot of new immigrants and/or refugees from Africa (Sudan, Ethiopea, Eritrea). The city centre is, however, very multicultural.

The West End is very ethnically diverse, Winnipeg is a very multicultural city, we even celebrate it for two weeks every summer with a festival called folklorama, the largest multicultural festival in the world.

I was in Winnipeg just a few weeks ago and took a whack of photos as well. Considering the city seems well represented in this thread and im to lazy to upload all the pics to the net. Ill just show you my favorite, which happened to be the last one it took as well!

like all major canadian cities ( excluding quebec city which is the whitest large city in NA) Winnipeg is very diverse, more so that larger cities like edmonton and calgary.
