It's DEFINATELY NOT! Went there to take this photo of the building, and the church that is on the site is still standing. No work at all is underway

SA BOY

the church is actually in front of this building and the site is served by a pan handle road. Ill mail the developer now to confirm.

SA BOY
December 13th, 2005, 06:57 AM
The cematry will be refurbished (gates and fences repaired to stop vandals and vagrents and the landscaping improved). Wont be looking down but straight out to sea

dysan1
December 13th, 2005, 10:37 AM
Well you will never have to worry of your view being impeded! No one will build on the cemetary and there is no dev land between you and the sea, expect for a little bit at blue lagoon

SA BOY

I think the windsor and river view across into Durban North will be nice too

Nice pics, looks v.promising

I will be back in August 2 view my unit on 7th floor, so SA boy, we must meet up, I think we might be next door neighbours !

NB, with regards to finishes, there is much lacking in terms of optional extras

I have requested many extras, without which the flat is less leasable
eg. bathroom cupboards, curtainrails/blinds, downlighters, towel rails, toilet roll holders

Also, have requested the door leading onto balcony opens ONTO balcony, as opposed to INTO lounge (wx will get in the way, small enough already)

The DSTV connection price is scandolous ! R1500 x 70 = over 100k in toto 2 put in cables to the complex !!

Go well

I see this place everyday on my way to work! pitty I cant take ne pics cause of all the taxi's ducking & diving at that time on Umgeni Rd, its coming up quite well. I went to see my boss's flat at morning ridge next to kensington, if you think the view from this place is good, you must see the view from my boss's flat OMG:eek2: Flippin amazing, he can see the right past Umhlanga & all the way to the point! If you have very good bino's you cab see Ballito!

Those DSTV prices do sound funny, any Idea on who the guys are who are doing the access & TV? I know some good guys, they are Sol (Mr Sun City) right hand mans, these guys are good, he even shipped them of to the Carribean to supervise Atlantis.

Ta 4 the input
Not sure who's installing DSTV, but developers were non negotiable on the price: R1500 per installation, take it or leave it
To me that seems a rip off, but being overseas I cant do much about that from out here !

This is an investemnt property for me so I did the DSTV as most tennants have some form of m-net but the extras I was going top have done( downlighters, additional plumbing and elec in kitchen for dishwasher etc) are not worth the cost as there will be no better rental yield.
I was able to negotiate a 2nd basement parking for my unit so that will make rentals and ultimatly selling much easier
back in sep for a wedding on the way back from OZ to Dubai

Im very disapoinrted at the quality of the finnished product, looks cheap and the developer has cut corners. the view is fantastic and its actaully a nice property but internal issues like tiling etc lets it down
