Actually, there is a really simple answer to your question.
People in Sarajevo much rather prefer the cevap. They’re really tasty, not that bad for you, made quickly, you can even get them home delivered.
While, McDonalds would be much more expensive, and is way to unhealthy for you. :(

Either way, there are places in the city/country that sell hamburgers, fries, etc. They’re also home delivered. ;)

If any will open in Sarajevo, they’ll most likely open in Ferhadija or something like that. Most likely areas where tourists will pass by, since they know locals won’t eat their garbage.

I hope all Bosnians who still live in Bosnia understand that you guys don't want McDonalds in Bosnia! Trust me. It seems like some symbol of the west and of capitalism and a popular restaurant, but really it's a piece of shit. The food is not that good, and if you knew the way that company treated it's workers.. plus, where McDonalds and fast food go, obesity follows, as well as destruction of local cuisine restaurants. If our government knew what it was doing it wouldn't allow a McDonalds anytime soon. I was hoping that would be the case, but now according to you it seems like they've started negotiations again.. fucking hell. I don't want to see the golden arches anywhere near the Bascarsija. Put it in Lukavica or some place. Worsen their health and eating habits.

I remember a special on television about how different groups of people have evolved different immunities based on their surroundings, etc. It's not racial at all, black people from different regions of Africa have all sorts of differences between themselves, as do white people in Europe.

But two of the things that stuck with me were than native Americans have very low tolerance for alcohol. What would give a white American a buzz, a native American will be loaded drunk from.
