Today I went out to the Mustard Festival at the International Village which is in downtown Hamilton. Now you’re probably wondering why the hell does Hamilton have a Mustard Festival, well because Hamilton is home to the largest miller of dry mustard in the world.

Ferguson Station is the site of the original train station built by the Hamilton and Lake Erie Railway in 1875. It subsequently served as a terminal for the Hamilton and Dundas Railway and Grand Trunk Railway, until it was demolished in 1929. The concept for the urban park included an open-air shelter that re-establishes the “railway station”. The station was built about 3 years ago.

The Junction Cafe, nice isn't it? Ronn Mattai purchased the place and redeveloped it. He's opening a new restaurant in Hamilton called 7 Windows soon.

Yep, I went to Ribfest at Spencer Smith Park last year. Nobody leaves the park without BBQ sauce on their fingers or face lol. I think it's Canada's largest Ribfest. It's a great place to hang out if you love ribs.

In June Ferguson Station also holds the Ribfest as well. Haven't done that yet.
