Haha, that's funny.

I drove up past the CBC here in Calgary two days ago and it looked like the guys on strike were having some sort of barbecue outside the building...

They did one of those in Edmonton too, they were on the news saying that they just wanted to do what they love. They set up a stage near City Hall with proper sound equipment and everything. :)

I don't know what they're doing, but it's fun to watch :P A bunch of execs trying to run a TV station. Didja see the "birthday stars" thing they've got on the local stations? Pathetic.

And the football games. Not much point to it. At least they're being aired.. That said, I'm very glad Thunder Bay Television is independant. Aside from the lack of the National, our broadcasting schedule isn't interrupted at all. And they always have American shows to fall back on.

Our CBC staff (about 12 people running a radio station right beside the slum on Simpson Street :D) hasn't had any barbeques or anything.. We'll have to bug them about it. :eat:
