So,
Re: Pearson airport:
1, Is the development moving along? Any info, pics, 'infiltration' etc.?
2, Air Canada lounge--- Is the one in the satellite infield terminal any good, or should I stick with the one in T 1 New - (have a pass to get into the lounge)

Off to Tokyo Thursday (been before. Many skyscrapers ... ugly, ugly skyscrapers.) Tokyo is a great city, by the way,. I have a friend teaching English, so I can sleep on the floor for free, provided he's paid his gravity bill.

Any ideas on how the Pearson - Union station link is coming along? No news is bad news?

Has anyone been to the Air Canada lounge at the infield terminal?

The lounge at the infield terminal is simply awful... Tiny, claustrophobic, with furniture that seems to be used junk left over from the demolition of old T1. Use your pass on the main T1 lounge - its gorgeous and very comfortable.

Thanks!
I've been to the lounge in the new T1, and it is quite nice. I will not subject myself to the infield lounge.

Does anyone know how construction is going?

Just flew back from Boston yesterday. From what I could tell during taxi, the actual structure of the new Pier F looks complete. It looked pretty empty inside though. Lots of dirt mountains around the terminal too. The double-decker gates for the A380 look like they've been built as well (not the actual moving part). I for one can't wait until the international flights are moved to T1 from the infield.

It's also my understanding that T1 will have sterile transfers (ie no customs) and that the new people mover should be up and running by the end of the year.
