Which tower deserve mention to be the pridest/stunning tower in singapore? redstone September 7th, 2005, 01:49 PM Parkview Square! http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=102208 heirloom September 7th, 2005, 08:01 PM well it really depends on the individual................. although not really 'towers', i think the super slim 30 storey condominiums of novena deserve a mention. so does the gateway, for being such fun illusions. i dont think any tower in singapore makes a person go 'wow!', but there are quite many that would have me stop in my tracks and appreciate its beauty for a while James Foong September 8th, 2005, 06:41 AM any building consider as skyscraper incl. condo can be mention out. :okay: yup, its true each individual has its own preference. but, if we can c the majority of overall preferences, i think then we can get a conclusion of singapore nicest tower. ...something that we would like to bring tourists to admire it.. can't get miss it. ;) Cliff September 8th, 2005, 09:08 AM Isn't it obvious? http://skyscraperpage.com/gallery/data/500/85oub_fullnew.jpg :D redstone September 8th, 2005, 11:08 AM You took that?! Cliff September 8th, 2005, 12:22 PM Why yes.:) its quite old in fact... heirloom September 8th, 2005, 03:49 PM i vote lincoln modern, moulmein rise, parkview square, and the gateway. oh concourse is pretty wowish too, although not always in a good way. Kit September 8th, 2005, 05:18 PM My vote goes to Changi control tower. redstone September 8th, 2005, 05:27 PM It's stunning? RafflesCity September 8th, 2005, 07:52 PM UOB Plaza at night for me. Pengui September 9th, 2005, 05:16 AM Parkview Square ^ ^ Or Capital Tower at the time where they turned the top light on every night ;-) szehoong September 9th, 2005, 07:41 AM My vote goes to OUB. But the most memorable building for me is that CK Tang tower.........its the roof I think. I think OCBC is very memorable too and I used to like it a lot when I was little. ;) As for Changi's air control tower.....I used to think that it is a 'perfect' design for an airport control tower! But that was when I was little too hehehehe  Phenomenal Fullerton September 9th, 2005, 07:48 AM I don't know about most stunning tower. But Singapore's most stunning building? There's one that's head and shoulders above the rest in my opinion. Go on, have a guess....... Cliff September 9th, 2005, 08:22 AM @szehoong, good taste.:D yeah, I also used to think that Changi's control tower was the perfect design, the benchmark for all control towers, haha. There's one that's head and shoulders above the rest in my opinion. Go on, have a guess....... Parkview? redstone September 9th, 2005, 08:41 AM My vote goes to OUB. But Singapore's most stunning building? There's one that's head and shoulders above the rest in my opinion. Go on, have a guess....... suprised noone has mentioned the gateway. Parkview is a nice building, but essentially it's over the top art-deco, a new york 1950s building wannabe. The gateway is nice AND artistic at the same time.
