This is the only ski resort in portugal called Serra da Estrela, it's small, but for a country of sun it´s very good, here are some pictures for whose don't believe:

A country of sun? I think it rains more in Portugal than in Spain. The problem is that your mountains are not high enough. Here we have a lot of mountains and ,so, a lot of ski stations :D, because even if it doesn't rain a lot in the south...it's cold enough to keep the snow and the ice for 5 months.

I often make the route from Madrid to Zaragoza in wintertime. And each year i see more and more portuguese good cars with skis in heading towards or from the Pyrinees. I had a Portuguese colleague which his family owned a house in Andorra and went there several times crossing all the Iberian Peninsule.

I can understand that although the rain and the cold, as Portuguese mountains are not so high it's difficult to have a lot of skiing places.

lots of portuguese ppl go to Andorra and Sierra nevada
unfornately serra da estrela can´t handle all portuguese ski lovers..it´s too small and snow is not regular although there are cannon´s of artificial snow to the main runways
