View Full Version : Calatrava bridge in Jerusalem ZOHAR September 11th, 2005, 11:12 PM will start 12.09.2005 http://www.jerusalem.muni.il//imagedb/892515727.jpg DonQui September 11th, 2005, 11:15 PM wow, that is a beauty. :uh: FJP September 14th, 2005, 01:33 AM Will it be pedestrian? Arpels September 14th, 2005, 06:28 PM its beautiful :eek2: mdet04 September 14th, 2005, 06:31 PM Yes, a very nice project!! FM 2258 September 14th, 2005, 07:01 PM I'm probably in the minority here but I don't really like Calatrava's designs. They look too much the 1960's "futuristic" style. Plus everything he designs is the same color, white. Maybe this one will look better when built but it doesn't look that great to me in this rendering. Arpels September 14th, 2005, 07:12 PM i'm a big fan of Calatrava and I respect your point of viue but tell me you dont like the future station disign by Clatarva for NY or Torning Torso for exemple? Arpels September 14th, 2005, 08:41 PM ZOHAR you have one almoust like that in Tel Aviv to pedestrians dont you? :sly: FM 2258 September 14th, 2005, 09:39 PM i'm a big fan of Calatrava and I respect your point of viue but tell me you dont like the future station disign by Clatarva for NY or Torning Torso for exemple? Actually I don't like either of those designs. To me anything Calatrava just looks the same and too many useless features like the extra tall spire on the Chicago building or those "spikes" that stick out of the NYC train station.
