View Full Version : Hudson Updates
Travis007 September 15th, 2005, 03:58 AM No pics sorry but construction has been pretty fast so far and the full height is almost complete.
The base is clad in yellow brick, and the glass, although I only saw one panel installed at the time, is a dark tealish/green that is not as transparent as the glass used in CCBR but is better than the green used in Apex and matrix in Cityplace.
Buster September 15th, 2005, 04:16 AM I'm surprised at its sudden rise. College Park, and the Yonge St/Harbour towers too.
Disappointed at Spire's slowness; the anticipation is killing me.
Ed007Toronto September 15th, 2005, 04:51 AM All buildings rise slowly until they hit the first proper living floors. The lower levels are non-standard so everything needs to be built by hand. Once they hit the standard floors they can use prebuilt forms. This allows them to speed up. Spire is on its third floor now and you'll see it rising by at least a floor a week from now on.
Istrian September 15th, 2005, 06:38 AM Here are some fresh Hudson Pics.:

addisonwesley September 15th, 2005, 09:08 PM When will this 'Victory' phase be built? Is it even in sales?
Travis007 September 15th, 2005, 09:10 PM ^^It is approved now, I think but I don't think it will be in sales until Hudson is complete.
Buster September 15th, 2005, 11:40 PM Hudson's alright but the Victory rendering looks amazing!

Travis007 November 28th, 2005, 11:54 PM Thanks again for another amazing update! :)
That's quite an amazing view up there from the warehouse (?).
I really like the dark-tealish glass on Hudson and yellow brick is definitely better looking than pre-cast. I can't wait to see all the cladding go up. And the area of downtown west is quickly getting more dense will all these mid-rise projects. :)
HousBinPharteen November 29th, 2005, 03:44 AM ^^^ No probs...glad I could do my part in posting some updates here. :)
pics were taken from one of the Cityplace buildings... There's definitely a lot of cranes in the immediate area. The number of developments just amaze me.
I'll try to post a shot of the west side later on.
reddwarf March 3rd, 2006, 05:17 PM I'm an owner in the Hudson. What's this second phase Victory thing about? The render of it in an earlier message isn't there.
cassius March 3rd, 2006, 11:51 PM Victory is to go directly to the east of Hudson. Don't remember how tall or anything.
Travis007 March 4th, 2006, 12:50 AM Time for a memory refreshment, Here's the Victory rendering from Diamond Schmitt's website.
Now that's a sleek tower! :D
