Guys, I have now moved!!!!

Until last month I lived in Monterey (12.5km south of Sydney) but now I live in Sylvania (16-17km) from the city. It's a 35 min drive to the city as compared to 20 mins before. On public transport, it's around 40-45 mins, same as before.

I'm a bit further out from the city now, but it doesn't stop me from getting fab shots of the city skyline.

This is from a hill not far from my place

And here's one from the Captain Cook Bridge (and no I wasn't driving;)), which links Sans Souci with Taren Point.

Looking forward to it Fabian. Do you reckon you could take pictures of the Chatswood, St. Leonards, Bondi Junction, Kingsford (+UNSW) and other skylines? My camera is not powerful enough to zoom in for a good picture. But you can see all those areas from the roof.

I can try but given the distance away from the city from Miranda it will be difficult. I took some shots from the Westfield Hurstville carpark several months back and struggled getting decent closeups.

They should just build a 330m tower (I have learned to conform) at Strathfield with views over the entire Sydney basin.

Netherless, still looking forward to the pics. Other than the city, Miranda, Hurstville are probably the best places for views, practically no blocking in all directions and plenty to see. I would love to get to near the top of St. Leos Forum tower though.

Nice pics Fabian... lol bar that blurred thing.

This is the angle of the city that always shows the ineffective nature of Centrepoint. Imagine the improvement to the scene with a 500 telecommunications tower. There is no obvious focal point from the southern views. The same goes for some of the northern views.

I think they should just move centrepoint to Parramatta and erect something new and no i won't conform; screw CASA and our council's regulations. :colgate:

Great pictures. So much detail, like the Novotel at Brighton along with other Rockdale area buildings. And theres still more skylines not shown. As for Hurstville, I guess you could say it has the main, station orientated skyline and another on King Georges road. How long before they merge?
