Olympiakos vs. Rosenborg 1-3

Udinese vs. Panathinaikos 0-3

Roma vs. Aris 5-1

Middlesburough vs. Xanthi 1-0

PAOK vs. Metalurh 1-1

Zenit vs. AEK 0-0

Yes Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, Besiktas, Olympiakos, Panathinaikos, AEK and PAOK could not manage 1 win between them.

This is a tough year it seems for Aegean football especially on the club level.

Do you know the reason? We have the same caractheristic. After any success, falling down period starts. The reason is we get any success with the daily heros not because of a traditional system like Germany, England, or Nederlands have. And we don't know to stay at the top after coming there... 1999-2002 was the top of Turksh football and then we fell down although we are not so bad. 2004 was Greek top point and you are doing our mistake...

lets hope though that in the next decade things will get better (not only in infrastructure but mainly in the way of thinking )

yes this is right...

But Gero, we have this at Basketball, and some other sports. But, I believe in our countries, our football culture is not healthy. For example, we like the competition of Panathinakios, Olympiakos- Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş more than any international success. And we don't prepare any backround for this.
