There isn't even a Dunkin Donuts or any other donut shop I know of in Israel.

I think Dunken Donuts left Israel about 3 years ago (unless they have a store open in rabin square, maybe under another brand)

There are no donut shops or chains in Israel. Warning: The jewish mother will not buy over-sugared junk food to her kids = anyone trying to open a donut only store will fail miserably.

I don't think it will fail, it just shouldn't up in areas that are predominantley Hasidic.

The problem in Orthodox area, like Mea Shearim, is that there are bakeries with a wide variety of sweet cakes and the people come in and put them in boxes themselves. Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donuts simply do not operate like that and they have limited options; only donuts .... though many many types of donuts. These places might work along the coast.

donuts make you fat.
eat 4-5 a week and at age 50 youll need bypass surgery.
every time you eat a donut, think of someone sucking it in future from your arteries.
now - how tasty is it?

Krispy Kreme opened up in Canada not so long ago and you expect them to be in Israel soon?

Come on....

Krispy Kreme opened up a street away from my old hosue and i heard from friends and co. that the line ups in the morning from 5:45 to 10:30 is unbeliable or was.... People waited 50 minutes in the car to buy donuts.....

Canadians have always been obese people.
Coming from experience, i loved going to Israel in August time..
why?

Cause the sales are happening.

and for 3 for 99 thing...i can get all the L/XL clothes i wanted to, cause thats my size. IM considered normal here, and in Israel, people consider me "Big"

Other than the major city, people often dont take care of themselves in Canada and actually fill up.
When iwas living in Israel back in 1990, i was the skinniest one of the st. Now its a little different...

well my image of canada is still of more fit oriented people with more outdoor activities than americans.. then again I may be wrong, long snow winters are a good time to fill up..

Canadians are rather cut into areas...

the Canadians in Ontario dont have time and most of our nature is polluted.
IN Vancouver there fit freaks...

But no matter where u go, in a city of 1 million or so..if you got 3 hours from there you see fat people.
A majority of these people live so far they used things like Card-Clubs to buy so many things each week or two and live on that...

so you practically have your kids living on chips and 40 cookies a week...q

Why not?

Hardee's reached the Middle East during early 80's before many states in the US
CinnZeo, the Canadian Cinnamon roll producer from Calgary is creating many outlets in Saudi Arabia while many people in Toronto or Montreal never heard of it http://www.cinnzeo.com/franchise2ii.htm

The very famous Doughnuts & Coffee chain "Tim Hortons" reached the US before many provinces in Canada

Tim Hortons got killed in the US.....
Its only in the US near borders and most customers are Canadian truck drivers...

i think what Israel needs is a Subway Resturant :)
How much money you got my UAE friend? :)
We can make some money ;)
