great choice. think if you have the 50 f/1.4 version :) the bokeh would be much creamier. nice shots by the way

london-b September 19th, 2005, 11:48 PM Your a very good Photographer
LondonerUpNorth September 20th, 2005, 01:51 AM Although your photos are generally great, this one is technically flawed in my opinion

For a start, you have cropped his head out of the frame, which just makes it feel cramped and it seems like the subject is actually his suit.
Also, the top of his head is whited out, all the detail lost (post-processing?). Did you use the built in flash for this? because the metering IMO is wrong.
Otherwise, some great pics!
Soulbrotha September 20th, 2005, 02:41 AM i can see his head.
fenix September 20th, 2005, 05:16 AM ^^ you should meter of the person's head/ or skin than the blacksuit. it seems that it has slight blown highlights on top of the photo. croppin can be a good thing especially on glamour photography..
Urban Dave September 20th, 2005, 09:28 AM :omg: Great pictures Soulbrotha!
