View Full Version : Will Everton Go Down this season? scouserdave September 20th, 2005, 01:58 AM Sadly, on the few games played this season, I think they will. Smileyface September 20th, 2005, 02:05 AM Shouldn't this be in the sports forum......but to answer your question, yes! They look clueless and short on ideas and leadership at the moment. Who's Evertons captain btw? johnnypd September 20th, 2005, 02:10 AM stubbs, but he's playing for sunderland! Pobbie September 20th, 2005, 03:48 AM This is hardly a surprise. More a return to normal business. :) Toadboy September 20th, 2005, 09:13 AM Merge this with the 14/1 to go down. It's actually about 5/1 now. Sunderland and Everton are gone already, who will dropsy No.3 be? Scarecrow September 20th, 2005, 09:34 AM I'll drop you Toad! Fucking wow! Five games in to a new season with three points. You realise that if Everton beat Wigan 1-0 at home next week (stranger things have happened) then we're mid table, level on points, games and goal difference to Aston Villa. Liverpool are only three points ahead as things stand, and have scored pretty much the same number of goals as Everton this season. Kopite plebs. Toadboy September 20th, 2005, 02:17 PM Down and out I reckon. Accura4Matalan September 20th, 2005, 02:32 PM They're going down... Scarecrow September 20th, 2005, 02:57 PM Tis alright. We'll sack Moyes and get Billy Davies from Preston. :) Seriously though. Everton are going through a transition at the moment. Moyes has brought in eight new players this summer, and they'll take time to settle and adapt a style of play they're comfortable with. There is the spine of a decent team there with Yobo and Krouldrup who can play as well as defend (Yobo just needs to cut out his odd mistake), amidfield beginning to take shape with Cahill, Neville, Arteta, Davies and Van Der Meyde. The two wide players are either yet to play/prove themselves, but injuries and time will be the telling factor with both. Striker wise we have a problem. Moyesey prefers his cautious 4-5-1 formation. Whether this is because he doesn't think his players are good enough for another formation; he is waiting until injuries are cleared and players are settled, or he is simply an over-cautious Walter Smith type is open for debate. Time will tell. However, big Dunc is on his last legs, Benty has worn his down to little stumps chasing everything on his own, Beattie is a lazy fat prima-donna who deserves to be anally raped with a broken Lucozade bottle and Jamie Vaughan is out for at least a month. He is one to look out for in the next two years, already the clubs youngest ever player and scorer, and the Premierships youngest ever goalscorer. McFaden is hardly worth a mention. A decent goalscorer, a change to 3-5-2 with Weir dropped and a bit of luck with injuries and things should settle down. Thee were enough positives to take from the second half performance last night to calm even the most tested of nerves. All things said, if we're still in the same position in late November, I'll concede that it is going to be another long slog. I'll keep ye posted. Toadboy September 20th, 2005, 04:06 PM What's everton and Heather Mills got in common? They've both only got one leg left. Pobbie September 20th, 2005, 08:34 PM Ooooh be fair, Toad. Sitback September 21st, 2005, 06:13 PM Nah Everton will be alright. Portsmouth, Sunderlund, West Brom down. You must be completely stupid to judge a season 5 games into it btw. Toadboy September 21st, 2005, 06:22 PM It's more than 5 games Sitback, everton are in the middle of an alarming run of poor results and form. johnnypd September 21st, 2005, 07:53 PM I'll drop you Toad! Kopite plebs. the wigan game could make or break your season! you've got some tricky games in the league after that (man city and tottenham away, chelsea at home) and if you don't beat wigan then your next win might be a long way off and the pressue will accumulate. still, i expect everton to sneak a 1-0 win vs jewell's lot. caw123 September 21st, 2005, 11:11 PM 1 goal in 5 league games. Pathetic. Zaqattaq September 22nd, 2005, 03:49 AM Shame we needed Sol Campbell to get a goal on them johnnypd September 24th, 2005, 06:06 PM the wigan game could make or break your season! you've got some tricky games in the league after that (man city and tottenham away, chelsea at home) and if you don't beat wigan then your next win might be a long way off and the pressue will accumulate. still, i expect everton to sneak a 1-0 win vs jewell's lot. dear oh dear oh dear :) Day Release September 25th, 2005, 10:37 PM I watched Sunderlands game today on Sky, and to be honest they totally out played Middlesbrough, and won 2-0. I actually think Sunderland could actually turn around there season. JackSwan September 25th, 2005, 10:43 PM that shouldn't surprise people too much, sunderland were an outstanding team last year in the championship. yes yes, don't laugh. tommygunn September 26th, 2005, 12:49 AM Everton wont go down their the dogs of war they have too much fight in them. Toadboy December 17th, 2005, 08:35 PM Everton wont go down their the dogs of war they have too much fight in them. I've seen gay poodles with more fight. Awayo December 17th, 2005, 08:40 PM You mix in unusual company Toad. Gay poodles? WeasteDevil December 18th, 2005, 12:09 AM They certainly looked liked gay poodles today. Scarecrow December 18th, 2005, 12:32 AM Ya ma. WeasteDevil December 18th, 2005, 12:33 AM  Scarecrow December 18th, 2005, 12:34 AM Toadboy molests gay poodles. That's why they put up a fight. He also reeks of Germoline. Scarecrow December 18th, 2005, 12:35 AM Weastedevil reeks of Toads love juice. Close this thread. WeasteDevil December 18th, 2005, 12:37 AM Now now, less of that, just nice to see you Liverpool lot having a barack now an then. Scarecrow December 18th, 2005, 12:39 AM Salford? Wht can you talk about other than pansies rugger? :? Johnny Vegas is more men than the entire Salford Reds squad (by biomass). WeasteDevil December 18th, 2005, 12:41 AM The "Salford Red" part not only refers to the Rugby, but also a team that plays Association Football on the other side of the canal. You know, the one all people from Liverpool love to hate. And no, it isn't Altrincham FC ;) Scarecrow December 18th, 2005, 12:45 AM Galzer Red Sox? :? Scarecrow December 18th, 2005, 12:46 AM I stand by my Johnny Vegas slur.... WeasteDevil December 18th, 2005, 12:49 AM The "Bitter" part of your member status suits you. ;) Sorry you lost. Vila Real did us over too BTW. Met loads of your lads in the street when you played here, you were a really good bunch in Castellón at least. Was sorry to see you go out. We might have had a better chance. ;) Scarecrow December 18th, 2005, 12:54 AM Villareal didn't do us over. Pierluigi Ailenheadcuntbastard did. He explained on Evertonfc.com a few months later that he saw a Marcus Bent infringement that 'maybe the cameras didn't pick up on'. Smeagol headed arse dweller wouldn't elaborate.... Guilty? With his resignation from Italian FA and his (illegal) 800k OPEL sponsorship being overlooked by UEFA, I seriously doubt he'd not get away with it. If only Harold Shipman was a UEFA endorsed physio... WeasteDevil December 18th, 2005, 12:55 AM  Pobbie December 18th, 2005, 05:43 AM Logic says they'll sink like the Titanic. However, Everton always manage to stay up... somehow. Toadboy December 23rd, 2005, 02:09 AM www.billkenwrightcam.com http://img353.imageshack.us/img353/27/bounce7vh.gif Thanks to Awayo for the link. WeasteDevil December 23rd, 2005, 03:05 AM . WTF is he doing to a big balloon, and why his he wearing arseholeless gruds? Does something else appear in the video later? His cock looks like a turd viewed through that balloon! Terrible! I really don't want to know how you found that! Scarecrow December 23rd, 2005, 08:40 PM Didn't know luvvie Bill waxed his legs.. Six pointer on boxing day against the equally inept Aston Villa. It's bound to be an exciting game. WeasteDevil December 26th, 2005, 08:41 PM Not looking good Bunnyman, you just got tonked 4-0 (again) by a team as crap as you lot are. ;) WeasteDevil December 26th, 2005, 08:44 PM And you've got the rather surprisingly good looking red scousers on Wednesday. Oh dear! Scarecrow December 27th, 2005, 11:03 AM Aye, but we suit being underdogs. Silky skills and an eye for goal count for nothing in a Merseyside derby, and thank fuck that we have neither. A.D.Williams December 27th, 2005, 11:35 AM After the sound thrashing the bitters got yesterday, I might have a shiny mopus (penny) on the blue wallahs for wednesday! Pobbie December 27th, 2005, 02:32 PM If we lose the Derby now, I'll never live it down... ROYAL BLUE December 27th, 2005, 05:49 PM Have to say everton were unlucky - Fucking cheating aston villa basketball club!! Toadboy December 28th, 2005, 07:51 PM http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d87/Stiggerd/pitbanner8dn.jpg Zaqattaq December 28th, 2005, 08:57 PM 3 minutes untill the Derby! Scarecrow December 28th, 2005, 09:28 PM Over after 15 minutes. Sack the ginger twat. Blabbernsmoke December 28th, 2005, 09:38 PM Over after 15 minutes. Sack the ginger twat. Lol! Liverpool need to get their goals average above Utd's so hopefully Liverpool will get another 2 or 3 :) Zaqattaq December 28th, 2005, 09:55 PM Whoa looks like we will have a quality second half p.s.- chelski is losing Peyre December 28th, 2005, 10:30 PM no their not. Joe Cole. Great little player :) Zaqattaq December 28th, 2005, 11:04 PM fecking rubbish scouserdave December 29th, 2005, 01:11 AM It appears to be inevitable after last night's performance. Witless and gutless.       Pobbie December 29th, 2005, 03:13 AM Who cares? The Reds go marching on... :pepper: Toadboy December 29th, 2005, 12:58 PM Being statistical and historical, Everton have usually gained more points by now than they would in the second half of the season. Can anyone see Everton pulling 25 points together by May 2006? scouserdave December 29th, 2005, 01:24 PM ^^ Isn't their next game away to Sunderland? Just out of morbid curiosity, I'm looking forward to it. Bit like looking at a car crash on the M1. You know you shouldn't, but can't help yourself :) Toadboy December 29th, 2005, 01:56 PM Yep Sunderland, I bet McCarthy can't wait. After "Rafa where's yer dad" "are you watching Michael Shields" "meeeerderers" (anyone with no prior knowledge of football would think the score was Meeerderers 1 - 3 Liverpool since they chant that more than 'everton') etc. I HAVE NO SYMPATHY. scouserdave December 29th, 2005, 02:18 PM Toad mate, Maccams must be creaming themselves, waiting for this match  Toadboy December 29th, 2005, 02:27 PM I bet they are, it's their only home banker all season. Actually I only have Sunderland and Brum as worse than Everton at the moment, maybe Pompey but Redknapp can close the gap by squeezing home wins out of his team. West Brom will survive on home form. Toadboy December 29th, 2005, 02:32 PM http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/uploads/1135350858/gallery_9537_140_14924.jpg Arf. scouserdave December 29th, 2005, 02:37 PM http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/uploads/1135350858/gallery_9537_140_14924.jpg Arf. Dear God! scouserdave December 29th, 2005, 02:40 PM I thought the Glad Rag end of Goodison were a bit harsh having a go at "Moysey" like this. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y252/stamfordhillyid/gwladys.jpg Pobbie December 29th, 2005, 03:32 PM http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/uploads/1135350858/gallery_9537_140_14924.jpg Arf. :hahaha: Scarecrow December 29th, 2005, 07:01 PM Take it to your own thread Children. Pobbie December 29th, 2005, 09:20 PM Well, this does tie in with your lot doesn't it? cgrassham December 29th, 2005, 11:56 PM Why all this sack Moyes bollocks? He's the best manager Everton have had for years! Some people have short memories. Scarecrow December 30th, 2005, 11:31 AM This 'sack Moyes bollocks' stems from the fact that he hasn't put out an effective team during the whole of 2005. They played well in two games, Palace and ManUre. He is tactically inept, can't seem to get his plyers playing to any sort of system and has been a disaster in the transfer market. Three 0-4 twattings in seven games is more than enough. Sadly, some people have very long memories, and can still remember when they were the best team in Europe, not releasing DVD's proclaiming the 'Magnificent 7th'. WeasteDevil January 3rd, 2006, 03:28 AM Well done, you're on the up! ;) Scarecrow November 2nd, 2006, 10:11 PM Wherre are the red shite now? :? What does that mean? Pardon my ignorance. Scarecrow November 3rd, 2006, 05:21 PM That's how far the nearest public urinal is from Goodison. Wezza November 4th, 2006, 12:47 PM Will Everton go down? With Timmy Cahill & Andy Johnson, i think not. ;) Pobbie November 5th, 2006, 03:51 AM Ahem, this is last season's thread. Don't count against it though. ;) Durbsboi November 6th, 2006, 12:08 PM They already starting their loosing spree :D Hey bunny we won 2-0 over the weekend, what was Evertons result? Scarecrow November 6th, 2006, 07:18 PM It was 1-0 to Fulham. You can find the results on the Sky Sports website. 2005 November 6th, 2006, 07:54 PM http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d87/Stiggerd/pitbanner8dn.jpg  I like Everton, great club with good traditions and support, but even I laughed at that. Avens November 6th, 2006, 08:25 PM What does that mean? Pardon my ignorance. After we (Liverpool FC) won the European Cup for the fifth time (yes, that's 1234...5) we got to keep the cup. So it's on display in Anfield, which is only about 1244 footsteps away from Anfield. Durbsboi November 7th, 2006, 09:43 AM It was 1-0 to Fulham. You can find the results on the Sky Sports website. Thanx for that Bunny, while I was there I decided to check the league standings, we level'd with the scum of Mersey! Scarecrow November 7th, 2006, 12:15 PM Wow. You must be doing shit if you're level with Tranmere. Durbsboi November 8th, 2006, 09:33 AM ^^LOL good one! |
