I love both buildings, but I like 2 Pru better...its so modern and its 995 feet, not over 1,000 feet, because of its spire.

The facades are very similar but 1LP wins it for me because of the more impressive crown and spire. But I could tell that both towers were inspired by the Chrysler building.

^^Nope, that's the rendering for 1LP in Philly.

That's not One Liberty Place, it is indeed a rendering for a proposed building in China. There are several buildings in Asia that bear more than a passing resemblence to 1LP.

Similar buildings but I prefer 2 Prudential Plaza. It looks somewhat more elegant and majestic IMO, mainly due to a nicer facade. Ofc, it's debatable. De gustibus non est disputandum :)

2 Pru - Chicago.

LOL, is that really in China? Most Chinese arhictects design so many copy and paste towers over there so it's quite believable.

^Yes, that building is in China. Last I heard it was under construction.
