I've seen that house ever since it was u/c. I agree its tacky. I hate the trend of building houses with columns in Jakarta.

Agree...
The abussive and excessive use of Greek classicism in many Jakarta's houses are just intolerable...and not forget to mention its application on tall buildings (i.e. Da Vinci apt, Menara Saidah).
Such a major backdraw for modern architecture in general, and Indonesian architecture in particular...

this house is near my grandparent's house in pondok indah!
i think this house it's fine! not too tacky! believe me i have seen more houses that more tacky than this house in this neighborhood! i think this house is well designed than the other houses!

It IS tacky but it's not the worst.... I've seen many houses with small land plots but try to look grand by buidling massive columns - those houses look plain ugly.

instead arguing about the house i think we must support them cos there are nice houses actually with some pillar and also as Indonesian, i always support not arguing !

remember all these house are at Indo we must support them (eventhough some really don't fit with tall pillar with small land)
