Or should we disregard that and demand at least one big normal stadium

not exactly. In Haifa's case its not about money, the money will come
from lotto, selling building rights in the old one maybe, or city money.
Its about.. location!!
It takes them 10 years or planning bearocracy to study where to locate it - between haifa and krayot so it becomes a metropolin stadium or west haifa and then only reached by cars and buses, and becomes a city stadium..
and where in west haifa? close to matam or far away, close to the train station or far away..
so this goes on and on like this for 10!!!!!!!!!!!!! years.

As a fan of Israeli soccer, the only thing i have to question is why do we need so many huge stadiums.

Looking at the numbers, about 8000 fans go to a game each saturday on average. Carlton Pay-Per View took over the stadium and we dont have any interest except for the top teams like Beitar Jerusalem, Maccabi Haifa, Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Tel Aviv.....

Yes, we do need new stadiums..but not 100,000 seater.

We need to renovate alot of them.
The problem is, is that most of them are outdated and never get used and they get trashed very often.

I was able to go last year to a game in Kiriat Eliezer and the bathroom and whole infrastructure was so bad that i didnt bother goign to the bathroom. I just did it outside.....

The key point here is...
RENOVATION.

We need to make more european-style stadiums that are between 10,000-20,000 seaters Max! We need to make them nice and very useful.
We cannot make so many huge stadiums, though Ramat Gan and Teddy can be renovated to meet capacity demand.
Kiriat Eliezer in Haifa should either be stayed for Hapoel Haifa or have a whole new stadium near the Congress centre and the IEC building....in the high tech district of haifa "Hof Studenti/Hof Carmeil"

For now:
Netanya is going to get a new stadium
Bnei Zonot Sachning will get one too
Beer Sheva are in talks
Eilat? :)

Now i think we should build and renovate these stadiums...keep them between 10K-20K seaters...

I also think the Municipalities should do more than just have games there... They should have concerts (Mashina) and stuff in those places

If Israel had the need for stadiums more would be built...
but for now, we need to keep the stadiums low and make them very nice and creative, rather than big...

Israel is not like Gruzi..Gruzia has stadiums as big as 80,000..than again, when ur under the USSR, they will build you anything big..
