Walking down Bay street and then east on King at about 2:00 in the afternoon. I also back-tracked on King because I had to get some money. The image quality isn't very good, as I was walking and snapping.

everytime i walk through the bay street area i am simply amazed at the sheer architectural quality of the area... there is this presence that you feel and you know that you're in a really powerful area.

Nice. I was reading somewhere here, that you can only call it a financial district if it has a stock exchange (which Toronto has); otherwise it's just a CBD. I wonder if that's true?

Yes, it's the presence of Money.

That place is so dead after 6pm its almost creepy, great buildings though and you do get the sence of money.

Great pictures, addisonwesley. There's a good contrast of new and older buildings.

Well it's the financial district. There's not many reasons to go there after work hours or on weekends. Unless you're there for staring at skyscrapers. :D

Great pics!

Personally, I think they should spruce up the streetscape with more greenery.

And FCP's lobby has got to be the ugliest of the lot. It's so drab and dull, looks like something that belongs in the suburbs.
