Nice. But what's up with all the ћирилични signs? I thought Kozarac was in the Federacija... :weird: But how can you have just one "ancestral home". I thought about 5 was obligatory :D

What I don't understand is why you call it 'Kozarac'...? What's that? This is Bosniak Banja Luka, it's a part of Banja Luka. Actually - it'll be even bigger and more important than Banja Luka in a few years! And look at all our cool projects, see that one commieblock? Way better than in that other part of Banja Luka.

It has some beautiful nature, Mosque is ugly, Projects look great, but I have some questions:

1. I thought Kozarac was a part of the Prijedor Municipality, not Banja Luka??

2. Isn't there the Kozarac National park?

The Kozara has a park yes. :) And yes, it's much closer to Prijedor than Banja Luka - economically, geographically, etc... - but I was just cracking a 'Srpsko Sarajevo' joke.

Kozarac has a few Serbs, though relations aren't very good at all. I won't get into it but surely you know all the sick, twisted things that happened to the people of Kozarac. Nothing you hear from anywhere else in BiH even compares. So the survivors aren't exactly...accomidating...of even moderate Serbs.

I don't find the city too attractive, and for the most part a bit dull. Most boring four days of my life! :D I read in an article that Many Bosniaks are returning to the Municipality. I will have to find the report, so I can post it.

By the way, about Prijedor, it's nothing special. At least it wasn't a two years ago, but since it has that big population, I'm sure they'll have to do something with it. And Kozarac...I passed there just after war, I think it was '97, and my mother said something like: "They'll never fix this", actually she said something similar for Dobrinja in Sarajevo...bilo kako bilo, it's all fixed now, and I'm sure it will be even better than before war :)

^ Who knows...becoase some Bosniak political parties were against census '01 and '03, '04, we don't even know what's Bosnia and Herzegovina's population.

According to statistical institutes of Srpska and Bosniak/Croat Federation, it's 1.5 millions (Srpska) + 2.3 millions (Federation) = 3.8 millions for whole country. Prijedor municipality (home municipality of Kozarac village) is ~100.000 :)

Crkvu je u A-U vremenu izgradio austrijanac za brisanje grijeha kcerke koja ljubovala sa kozarcaninom Mehmedom. Ima poduza prica u vezi toga. Crkva u narodu ima naziv "Mehmedova".

Ne vidim razlog uvrede. Momak je samo pitao jesu li to Turkinje, jer se slicna narodna nosnja nosi i u okolini Izmira, Manise, Usaka, Canakale, Burse( cijela zapadna Turska ) ... , a na drugoj slici cak i u cijelom muslimanskom svijetu. Treba vam biti drago jer se cuva kultura i tradicija( koliko toliko).

P.S. Inace, Kozarac postaje pravi mali grad. :)

SokoX, nemoj se ljutiti, mislim da si ekstra lik, ali sad stvarno lupas bez veze. Kakve Hasimije i Abasidi, ne filozofiraj bez potrebe. Ova nosnja je jednostavno modernija i svecanija izvedba islamske tradicionalne odjece, a boja je apsolutno sporedna. Ne brani ovog provokatora, jer se dobro se zna ko je i iz kojih razloga nazivao Bosnjake Turcima i bas je zbog toga ovakva vrsta provociranja posebno degutantna na temi o Kozarcu, u kojem ce jos godinama biti iskopavani poklani civili. Pustite se glupe rasprave o nosnji ili otvorite temu koja ce se baviti pitanjima mode.

Daj se ne prenemazi i ne trolaj po temi. Nosnje naroda BiH su bosanskohercegovacke bez obzira iz koje nacionalne skupine potjecu. Frustracije i nacionalisticke bljuzgarije izbacuj na poskoku

Baustelac, pod bosanska mozes zakljuciti da je bosnjacka jer svkako 99% srba i hrvata s ne smatraju bosancima i ako ovdje zive i ako su ovdje rodjeni...tako da ti je argument glup...
