I kidna see that there is a lot of problem with crowdedness and building permits in Tel Aviv and the Gush Dan as a whole.

Alot of houses, which are old and very outdated are still around and need to be taken down in the long run.

My question is: Houses in Israel that have 2 floor apartments...are they sometimes torn down to build for new places.

&
In Ayalon Highway, eventhough most Building are 1992 and newer...there less than 20 floors...
Can they tear them down and make way for bigger buildings...

and im not reffering to the Azrieli and such....but in the south especially...when you go to lod...there is alot of these small office building...

If you think of it..
all these small office buildings being torn down will help Israel's urbran developement as a whole, since towers of 50+ can help vacat these small buildings that take up space, no? :)

towers of 50 stories also take up lots of space.
Most space saving is building mid-rise 6-12 floors only, with underground parking.
ie. paris. most residential places in israel today also build this way, and much more dense than before, 6-12 floors. ie. ashdod..

Isnt' it better to have one area with 30-40 tower building, than to have a few with 6-12?

The thing is, is that in Israel they have older neighbourhoods...
do companies actually go and buy out a block and make a new area in that place?

Im reffering to buildings that are 2 floors and no elevator...the ones that were built quickly for the new immigrants in the 1950's and 60's....
