For those who do not speak Japanese?...Is there anyone here who are planning to learn /take classes or,... are already Learning?...any encouragements on the best way to go about it?.....i am annoyed at some people whome i have asked and they discourage me....I like Japanese culture and i've always wanted to learn so im still going for it......im a total beginner though...any advice or words of encouragement :) thanks

I'm about to be a beginner next semester in the Spring. I prefer to take some lessons before I ever go back to Japan.

Think about it this way: with as much as you know now (probably not much, right?) there is a LOT for you to learn, so anything you learn now could probably help you in many many ways, even if you're not fluent. You will be much better off than knowing nothing.

Im still learning it, sadly, Im not dedicated as much as a year ago since it was easier to learn Swedish and Portuguese.
