Has there been groundbreaking? Site cleared?

yea thats sweet... I'm not familiar with Manitoba winters but will construction still go on even in the cold months?

Would be nice if Hydro would have used a mixed use tower (to give it more height)

this tower looks too mishy mashy... i dunno. the thin side view looks bad but the long/wide side view looks good. i'll have to actually see the building when it is finally completed to make my judgement on it. But good for winnipeg getting an office tower!

You keep building during winter? The smaller projects here stop from mid-Jan to early-Feb, due to dub -40 temperatures. :S

The tower looks nice, though.

That's a good question. Will it be mixed use with on street shops? If the tower does that would really help liven downtown.
