View Full Version : Bavli Towers: 7 towers, 28f - 38f
source26 September 30th, 2005, 07:56 AM Soon u/c: Bavli Complex, 600 units:
Delek Real Estate to build first 3 towers that can be built now, 28-38 floors and will soon start, 350 apartments, already approved etc.
The other 3-4 towers are complicated because you need to vacate current tenants which will cost $14m. So its unclear if these will also go ahead and when.
Company will make $24m profit. 4 bedroom apartments are 90-110 sqm.
also approved pals for 7,500 sqm office building (10-12 floors), unclear if its profitable to be built because of office rent prices.

Kappa21 September 30th, 2005, 06:26 PM is this a luxury tower or something?
source26 September 30th, 2005, 06:46 PM If its in Bavli area then yes, it can be considered a luxury tower depends what will be in them (spa, pool, doorman, private park) if not than its just regular small apartments going for $400-500,000 just because they are new and at a good location.

source26 October 2nd, 2005, 06:46 PM kappa, you have 1 million people living with a per capita of $60,000 like that of luxemburg and the rest are struggling to stay debt free and earn a living, with 1.5 million poor.
so of course there are those that can afford to pay such a price, they are bank managers who earn 20-50,000$ a month.. and their banks throw out people from their homes that owe that much for an entire apartment..
