What do you think, will Miami Metrorail be finished by 2014 with the North-South Corridor and the East-West & MIC?

Kevin :) , I put " No ", because Metrorail will continue to expand for decades to come, why so long, acquistion of Land and demolition of the land to come in years, not months, the east - west corridor not even started in any way, MIC DOT project at M.I.A. has been stalled, Turner is now out of the area. the grass is growing higher than the steel rods in the ground foundation. I drive by ther everyday, and Turner construction signs were taken down :bash: , and quietly gone and the Rental parking garage is stalled :bash: .

the North - south corridor, I say will be last, maybe around 2020, it might start, the only part of a Metrorail expansion arroved by the county is the 4 mile part from the Earlington Heights station to the Mic Key Model Center, lol at the Airport and Lejuene road interchange at the end of 2012, it should be completed with construction delays, which always happens with any county project nowadays, lol.

oh, Kevin :) , with this Thread, we now have 311 threads in our forum, you just beaten Florida forum by 1. :runaway:

Man, I really do wish they'd complete their promises and do finish it by 2014, it'd be so cool, useful, helpful, and add any good synonyms in here. Someday we'll get somewhere...

Metrorail will never be finished IMO. And what I mean by that is hopefully, the system will continue to be improved and expanded, so that it's coverage is ever more comprehensive.

Thanks NIMBY :) , and the only future part with the approval and funding of the Miami-dade commission is the RED track in the center near the Airport, will be completed by the end of 2011, the land is already bought and cleared, waiting for a award contract to a developer. This will get done !!!, :eek2: its a guarantee.
