It won't look white for long, it will turn out to look beige unless they wash down the facade regularly which I doubt.

Have a look at the Riviera Tower on the Marina Drive. I also thought the same about that tower, but turned out to be wrong.

Looking better all the time. Lets hope they finish the roof and side fins all as the renders and there will be nothing to complain about with respect to the final appearance.

I hope it will be finished by this time next year, just been so slow.

There is no way this will be handed over in 2 months. We still have to do snagging etc. Has anyone been inside lately?

2 months? Not if every tradesman in Dubai came to help.I was inside in october and I reckoned then that it would be at least a year mabye more.There was a sign up saying that their mid-day break was from 12-3pm,I was there at 11.30am and every corner I turned there was someone lying sleeping.

Can you remember Stephen the South African project manager. I reckon it would have been finished now if they hadn't got rid of him. How is the project manager letting this happen.
I think money issues is probably also holding them up . As I said before most people still have to pay about 50%.
If they would ask for say another 25% now to get the project finished to a good standard and then take maybe 5% off the final payment of the ones who have paid this, a lot of people would do it.

The project is completely under manned. I went there one night with a friend who owns here and the new project manager was still on site wading through his paperwork. There is no proper management structure hence it is impossible to flood the site with men.

In my opinion the developer has left himself wide open for compensation claims. He has completely misshandled his customers and miss managed the development.

Great little tower but rediculously slow and late!

The shame about it is that we just want it finished without any compensation claims or that could slow it down further and he stands to get a lot of money on completion.

The developer continues to quote March 2012 as completion date.

Better pull out some stops, no not stops some go's.

They had some progress but still slow..March 2012 is impossible , difficult to guess anything, I think depends on the money only..but its worth to wait , one of the best location in the marina.

Looks like a ploy to get people to release the final payment. Some people have no scruples.

I have been hopeful that the roof feature gets fitted, the fact that the crane is still in position means it might still happen. I would let him know that there won't be a full payment if the building is not delivered as promised.

Wont be ready then, crane and outside lift still there, no way..maybe they thought in April 2013?

Top man on the construction team, has said end of July this year is just possible for completion , depends on safety checks and DEWA after that, so with a fair wind we might have an apartment for Christmas.

Plotman, thanks very much for those pictures. Were you in the apartment? I was in last July but the kitchen wasn't in. Have you seen any kitchens and what do you think.

No kitchens in the one beds, they are just tiling the walls, kitchens next I guess, yet some floors are not tiled yet, overall finish looks ok. I was quite impressed with the outlook from the lower floor 1 beds, made you feel part of the place.

When i enquired in November -- i was told by them they would DEFINITELY handover in Feb 2012 -don't worry it wil be 2013 before this is handed over 100%

No developer is any different, they all lie. I had exactly the same b*llshit from Emaar, totally unrealistic completion dates month after month.

I know it isn't a lot of help but hang in there, there is (slow) progress every day - and when it is finally finished, which I'm sure it will be, it will be a prime development. After all Location is everything and it is in a very good location.

They've got scaffold up on the front also to clad the "fin" features. Balcony ceilings are also progressing.

Need to see this roof feature starting soon. The crane is still up so fingers crossed.
