WpG_GuY October 4th, 2005, 01:26 AM IT's not the biggest or the best, but it's the newest, Winnipeg's MTS Centre:

Ashok October 4th, 2005, 01:26 AM Olympic Stadium, most unique :)
crazyjoeda October 4th, 2005, 01:31 AM I hate Montreal's stadium it looks like 1970's trash. Skydome is the best and I couldn't imagin Vancouver with out BC Place but it's starting to need a reno.
partybits October 4th, 2005, 01:38 AM I've always had a liking to the Saddledome, just love the inverted dome (or saddle) compared to most standard domes (ie Skydome).
But in terms of the interiour, I like Skydome the most. It's sheer size humbles you.
Best inactive stadium is the MLG. Historic, classical, and just plain beautiful.
Boris550 October 4th, 2005, 01:39 AM Saddledome! I also like MTS Centre, BC Place, and the Skydome (in that order).
*Jarrod October 4th, 2005, 01:53 AM i think that the corel is the ugliest
Bertez October 4th, 2005, 02:05 AM On the outside, olympic stadium is the best. On the inside, ACC is the best.
Nate October 4th, 2005, 02:16 AM As a biased opinoin I'll go with Taylor field... awesome atmosphere :D... but honestly I would put Montreal's Olympic Stadium at top-spot for looks; I love it. Then Saddledome and the Roger's Centre are tied for 2nd, with BC place coming after that.
mr.x October 4th, 2005, 02:28 AM u can't really compare an outdoor mega stadium to a hockey arena-stadium, it's different.
CrazyCanuck October 4th, 2005, 02:35 AM Gotta go with Rogers centre on this one, worlds first retractable roof.
coldrsx October 4th, 2005, 02:43 AM a packed house at commonwealth on a late oct day is something to behold....think green bay.
touraccuracy October 4th, 2005, 02:48 AM You're missing GM Place!

habsfan October 4th, 2005, 03:05 PM The Bell center!
Jaybird October 4th, 2005, 05:19 PM The John Labatt Centre in London. Been here more times than any other arena. Seats 9,090 for hockey, and home to the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League, the 2004-05 Memorial Cup Champions!

mr.x October 5th, 2005, 02:16 AM if i could, i would change my vote to Labott.
addisonwesley October 5th, 2005, 02:20 AM Maple Leaf Gardens?
Buster October 5th, 2005, 04:27 AM Though I've never been there, the MTS looks the best. Very nicely woven into its urbane location without screaming "look at me, I'm an anachronistic vision of the future!" or ignore me, I'm plain boring (and in the case of the Corel Centre in Kanata) or ugly and pink.
Don't get me wrong, I like our outrageous visions of the future and have a soft spot for the cavernous and dated Skydome. It's still a rotten place to watch baseball but it's great for what it is.
BlackRedGold October 7th, 2005, 09:10 PM That's a bad shot of the Corel Centre.
Here's a better one:

addisonwesley October 7th, 2005, 10:06 PM ^^Ahahahaha, is it true they don't allow TML jerseys in there?
rakesh October 8th, 2005, 06:05 PM Saddledome...Beautiful!!!
samsonyuen October 8th, 2005, 06:35 PM Olympic Stadium's design is still my favorite, followed by Pengrowth Saddledome.
I will always love Rogers Centre due to nostalgia. Air Canada Centre's nice, but I prefer Corel Centre. It's too bad it's so far from central Ottawa. MTS Centre looks pretty nice, I like how it's street presence is not too imposing. It's like that with Centre Bell in Montréal also. I'm not too big a fan of Commonwealth Stadium. It should be appreciated for holding so many people, but the design's just a little boring. BC Place is pretty nice too.
rapideye95 October 8th, 2005, 11:30 PM Maple Leaf Gardens is the shrine of all Sports and entertainment.....And people think it's MSG..HA..funny
Long live the old forum of Montreal...you will stay in my memories
worldwide October 9th, 2005, 11:47 AM JLC biotches! but seriously, its obviously the save on foods memorial arena
samsonyuen October 9th, 2005, 11:55 AM Who thinks MLG is MSG? You can still go to the Forum, to see a movie, eat a meal or buy electronics.
ldoto October 9th, 2005, 06:57 PM Here's a link to the John Labatt centre from london ont have fun!

katatonic October 9th, 2005, 11:53 PM does canada have a decent stadium to be proud of?
DrJoe October 10th, 2005, 12:20 AM I think we could be proud of Skydome, though I suppose it isnt a true stadium which Canada has very few of. Commonwealth is clearly Canada's best actual stadium.
http://www.esks.com/media/images/Commonwealth%20Stadium.jpg
mr.x October 10th, 2005, 01:26 AM The stadium Vancouver is planning to build will be Canada's best stadium.
- 15,000-20,000 seats expandable to 30,000
- three sided venue with one side facing the ocean, mountains, and sails of Canada Place
- located in the waterfront of downtown
- multi-purpose: a public skating rink in the winter and beach volleyball courts in the summer, mainly used for soccer with real grass, outdoor bowl for the Vancouver Symphony, and venue for concerts.
Renderings next week when it's unveiled.
DrJoe October 10th, 2005, 01:47 AM 30,000 is a kinda smallish though, Commonwealth holds over 60,000 and can be expanded quite alot past that.
Oaronuviss October 10th, 2005, 01:48 AM Windsor Arena. :|
mumbojumbo October 10th, 2005, 02:00 AM ^^Ahahahaha, is it true they don't allow TML jerseys in there?
We have people walking around with boomboxes playing the "Leafs suck" song there ;)
mr.x October 10th, 2005, 03:42 AM 30,000 is a kinda smallish though, Commonwealth holds over 60,000 and can be expanded quite alot past that.
well this stadium isn't meant for the CFL or anything like that, it's more of a community and soccer specific venue. and when i mean "expanded", i mean permanent expansion. not temporary seating.
i believe Molson Stadium (i think that's the name) in Montreal is expandable to 30.000.
Siopao October 10th, 2005, 05:05 AM Montreal Olympic Stadium is the best here
doady October 10th, 2005, 08:33 AM I like Olympic Stadium is the best, imo. Corel Centre is the worst. An ugly building and it's in the middle of nowhere too.
