Ufff...i feel sorry for the Turks, poor guys have already introduced the "EU-approved" licence plates (with that blue strip on the left side) but what if the country never becomes a member? How stupid & used will they feel?:(

It looks nice in some parts, but if I didn't know better, I'm not sure I would say this is a capital city of a large country. Istanbul deserves to be the capital of Turkey.

I mean it is a beatiful, clean city no doubt, but it doesnt seem worthy being a captial.

i agree with some people this doesn't look like the capital of a large country. it looks small and not very unique but i personally think that the pictures give that illusion and there can be pictures out there that might change my mind.

..To be exact in my opinion the whole idea of any internet forum is to express opinions even if they are not necessarily positive. In this case i presented opinion of the place that i personally didn't find interesting and it is not based on the pictures i've seen, i simply visited that town once so it's based on what i've seen with my own eyes. I am not saying that is bad or sth and i also know that is developing in the right direction.
..I reviewed some threads here and i figure that some people have some kind of complexes of their origin...

Anyway, i think that fixing economies of balkan countries lies within all europeans interest
