SG is definitely an interesting place to visit and experience and also a major and easy air transportation hub with many connections! :) but its probably not the most interesting place to live permanently cause all of my Singaporean friends and college and grad classmates have left and now work/live everywhere around the world (but not in SG for some reason)...its funny, I cant visit any of my Singaporean friends in Singapore (Melbourne, San Francisco, Hong Kong, Osaka, Los Angeles, Bangkok yes but in Singapore no --wierd :eek:

not only that, SG birth rate is way below replacement rates.... so in 50 years or so, SG might just be 10% Singaporeans and 90% foreigners on temporary work assignment/transit/weekend tour (truly a transportation/service/shopping hub :) ....(maybe they will then start to try to lure teaming population Mainland Chinese to emigrate to SG--just like Japan encouraging Japanese-Brazilians and Japanese-Peruvians to emigrate and settle back in shrinking Japan)
