Miami awarded 2010 Super Bowl

ROMULUS, Mich. - Miami was chosen Thursday as the site for the 2010 Super Bowl, making it the 10th time the city will host the game.

Atlanta, Houston and Miami made a final pitch for the marquee event at an NFL owners meeting in this Detroit suburb, located about 25 miles from Ford Field, where the next Super Bowl will be played.

Atlanta and Houston went into Thursday's vote as favorites because Miami already had been picked for the 2007 game.

After 2010, Miami will top New Orleans' record of nine for hosting the most Super Bowl games.

Won't considerable improvements to the stadium be completed by then ?

MET 3 :cool: 74 floor , 866 feet condo tower will be open by then , with the Whole foods supermarket also open at the ground floor entrance. All 3 Brickell Icon towers :cool: will be completed, the Capital twin towers :cool: will be completed, the Infinity twin towers :cool: will be completed, the three tower Brickell Citi- Centre :cool: should be half completed, 500 Brickell twin towers :cool: should be completed, the Imperal twin towers :cool: should be completed, and the One Broardway office tower :cool: should be completed. Okay, don't forget the Onyx 2 :cool: tower will be completed, and also all 5 towers of Midtown Miami :cool: will be completed, the Soliel tower will be Completed, the Freedom Tower condo :cool: should be almost completed by then, with the Paramount Park :cool: and the Paramount Bay :cool: towers completed, Go Cranes !!! :applause: :pepper: :banana: :cheers:

YES !!!, 900 Biscayne :) , It will be completed in the fall of 2009, you will be living there in the 900 Biscayne Bay :) condo tower during the Superbowl game of January , 2010, YES :cheers: , and it will be the tallest among all 6 towers, with the Miami Freedom condo tower still under contruction, probably be finished the year after. :cheers:
