Well, I've lurked here awhile, and I've finally decided to post. Here's a picture I took when I got home today:

It's nice to contrast the Aon, 2 Pru, and the Sears. I only wish I had gotten home earlier so I could have gotten a pic at dusk, since it's my fav. time of the day.

2 Pru is probably my favorite post art-deco building in Chicago. It reminds me a bit of the Chysler Building towards the top, and the spire sets it off nicely, IMO. I only wish they had done the setbacks on all 4 sides of the building, instead of just the north and south sides. Or I wish they would have done the base more prominently and left the setbacks out.

Anyway, enjoy a lit up Chicago!

It is a great picture, but somewhat too dark... Post this in the Chicago Photo thread in the Chicago forum.

2Pru and Aon look so great at night.

Like I mentioned, they should consider leaving lights atop of Aon like they have right now. Pink is especially interesting on such a masculine building.

My humble advice: Take a longer shutter speed to gather more light.
