Joey Yung

Singers that I think are okay:
Eason Chan, Jacky Cheung, William So, Nicolas Tse

Singers that aren't okay (but not too bad):
Mariam Yeung, Gigi Leung, Kelly Chan

Singers that I totally dislike:
Yumiko(hate her f*cking voice), Candy Lo(bad voice), Leon Lai(bad voice, can't sing)

Incredible: Jacky and George Lam

Good: Andy Lau, Leo Ku, Andy Hui

Okay: Leon Lai, Aaron Kwok, Gigi Leung

I think are overrated: Miriam Yeung, Twins

Stupid regardless of their singing ability: Nicholas Tse

Cantopop had a humble beginning in history b'cos hk use to be influenced by mandarin songs & english songs. Native original local songs began with Sam Hui, Wong Jim, Joseph Koo etc

I think there are many good singers & songs of Cantopop, but some are not 'packaged' as a multi-media product so not alot of people would appeal to them. I think canto-lyrics are great

Some good singers: Alan Tam, Lee Hakkin, George Lam, Roman Tam, Leslie Cheung, Anita Mui, Sally Yip, Eason Chan, Leo Ku, Sandy Lam, Teresa Carpio, Jacky Cheung, Joey Yung, Beyond (Original) ...

No, I don't like it, because the songs are boring to me...
I prefer more Alternative and Hard Rock :)

Yumiko is still around? I haven't heard from her for a while.

There are some good songs here and there. I can't pinpoint a specific singer. Good material seems to be scattered across the artists.

Good: Anita Mui, Kelly Chen, Alan Tam, Hacken Lee, Joey Yung, Wong Ka Kui (deceased)
Okay: Sammi Cheng, Eason Chan

i think aaron kowk is gettin abit old, jacky cheung comes out once in while when he needs money, sammi gettin old, gigi cant sing anymore.

when i say gettin too old, i mean like.... in the 30s, since canto-pop earns most of the money from teens.
