I was five days in Serbia. I travelled from Bulgarian border via Pirot, Niš and Belgrade to Novi Sad and later to Subotica. I also had opportunity to visit small and beutiful town of Sremski Karlovci some 15 kilometers from Novi Sad (September 17).

Sremski Karlovci was possibly the most important Serbian town in the 18th century, major spiritual and cultural center. Sremski Karlovci is a real beauty !

Dunav/Donau is just several hundred meters away.

Also Fruska Gora monasteries are not far from Novi Sad, but I didn`t have enough time to visit them.

Spaniards in Novi Sad (SPENS arena, originally built for the World Table tennis championship in 1980s, this year home for Eurobasket 2005 Men).

Ok, Stevan.

Weather was perfect and I had a local guide from Novi Sad. We visited several churches and museums. Place is really, really nice and not very touristic (what I like).

I also visited Petrovaradin fortress (another great place) in Novi Sad and watched six Eurobasket 2005 games (including three Serbian ones :) ).

Unfortunately, I have no pics from Novi Sad (except two) and Belgrade. Most of the time I walked around without camera.
