Is English sport good or bad or does it need improving and who else should be on that list

It's been worse, that's for sure. I vote "good", if not perfect. :)

definately good. we're too hard on ourselves sometimes.

Lennox Lewis should be on there. He may have retired now but it was recent and he had one of the greatest records in heavyweight history. I think we do pretty well. :)

If we arnt No.1 in the world, we're crap.

And thats what I see everywhere in this country.

We have great teams and great sportsmen, but because they arnt Ranked No.1, they suck.

Apart of Football England is good in sports were Germany sucks (ok, currently Germany's football team sucks too).

Field Hockey is one sport where they compete on the same level - though I think germnaysi quite a lot better.

Both countries are decent at rowing as well.

I should have added the word "popular" into my last post. :D

We're not bad but definetely could be better. Often too critical though.

We should be doing more at grass roots to encourage better sports stars.

Either Belgium or The NL offer the worst physical education. Most sportsgrounds in NL are now located: away from schools; away from the neighbourhoods and next to motorways. I've not seen the entire UK in the past year but judging from what I did get to see, things aren't bad at all in the UK ... On the contrary, perhaps the best amateur facilities .. while still community/family friendly

I don't know really! Korfbal and netball are of the same ilk - the appeal to korfbal is of course taking mixed showers after a game
