View Full Version : Havneholmen to break ground within months!
TORONTOCOPENHAGEN October 18th, 2005, 11:39 AM It is a great pleasure to inform you that Sjælsø-gruppen will start building apartments on Havneholmen (the big site next to Fisketorvet) soon.
According to kifora.dk they will start this autumn.
Check www.havneholmen-boliger.dk
Look at the photos. I like it.

cphdude October 18th, 2005, 01:44 PM it is very expencive....the cheapest one i saw was 4.5 million kroner...but i thought they had started a long time ago....so much going on i cant keep up...
staff October 18th, 2005, 01:52 PM Yeah, we need the development site up and running so that we can organize all projects going on in CPH and Malmø. :)
Fascinating project btw!
Kaneda October 18th, 2005, 01:56 PM Damn, the most expensive was 16 mill. D.kr - thats alot of money for an apartment.
cphdude October 18th, 2005, 02:05 PM There is one appartment for sale on christianshavn for 15 million, in a complex by henning larsen, but i think this one might be the most expencive appartment in COPENHAGEN...And the fact that it has already been sold, leeds me to believe that it was probebly made for order...They wouldnt just make a random apartment for 16 million, without having a buyer...
edit- and 41000 in commenexpences?? thats about 1-2 years of pure rent for me....damn
wolkenkrabber October 18th, 2005, 03:03 PM nice! i am glad they will fix the area around Fisketorvet, from my memories it was not a very pretty sight (2002)
they looks like disfigured lego castles in a cool way!
staff October 18th, 2005, 03:19 PM wolkenkrabber,
It looks great already (I work next to Fisketorvet), and it is improving every day!

i'm glad to hear that, got and fresh or semi fresh phots?
staff October 18th, 2005, 03:52 PM Sorry, I don't have any photos - there may be some in DenverDane's "Summer in Copenhagen" thread which is a sticky in the main S&B forum though.
ch1le October 18th, 2005, 04:32 PM wow! This is a amaizing project, WONDERFUL architecture! Nordic yet so cool!
DenverDane October 18th, 2005, 04:37 PM Very nice but also damn expensive. That area can really use some new residentials, so it's all good.
tournesol October 18th, 2005, 06:26 PM Definitely one of the coolest project in CPH right now - by the way, it's the same architect as Tietgen Kollegiet in Ørestad North: Lundgård & Tranberg :) :okay:
The swedish architect Gert Wingårdh will build another residential project next to it. Haven't seen any renderings yet.
He also made the masterplan for the whole area (Havneholmen), which is the area seen in the "aerial rendering" posted by DLL_4ever
Cafo October 19th, 2005, 12:01 AM I really like the design. It's gonna be a beautiful complex of buildings to pass by when crossing the new walk and bicycle bridge.
Nightsky October 19th, 2005, 01:47 PM The area around Fisketorvet is somewhat of Copenhagen's La Defense, only much smaller and lower.
nice project!
mlm October 19th, 2005, 05:23 PM Really nice design, both ex- and interior looks stunning.
It's also about time something gets build there.
cphdude October 19th, 2005, 06:31 PM ^^ how many appartments were thay talking about building in that area? Im thinking 5000 for some reason, but i could be wrong...

5000!!! On Havneholmen! That very wrong. It think it's about 400-500!
cphdude October 23rd, 2005, 03:27 PM oh, okay...i gues i must have head wrong...or maybe i dreamt it....

Maybe you've been smoking to much lately? ;)
cphdude October 23rd, 2005, 05:15 PM Maybe you've been smoking to much lately? ;)
`that is absolutely possible....you know what they say, "shit happens".... :)
TORONTOCOPENHAGEN October 24th, 2005, 07:21 AM I disagree, Nightsky! ;-)
The area around Fisketorvet is not at all similar to La Defense. La Defense is purely business. Fisketorvet till now is strictly shopping and is being developed to be residential and commercial.
I see your point by saying it, since it is an area developed from scratch, but do not agree. ;-)

cphdude October 24th, 2005, 09:42 AM Plus La Defense is also a lot taller, and build to be taller....I guess you could compare it more with ørestaden in general....
onetwothree October 24th, 2005, 11:00 PM wolkenkrabber,
It looks great already (I work next to Fisketorvet), and it is improving every day!
Next to fisketorvet? Where exactly? It's just, I work at CinemaxX, Fisketorvet :)
Anyway, nice to hear they're finally building something, has anyone seen that banner when coming from Sydhavnen towards Fisketorvet? It's a render of Havneholmen filled up with commercial buildings. It looks pretty cool, but it's been standing there for ages. I guess it's scrapped now, or what?
cphdude October 24th, 2005, 11:50 PM staff works at a bank in the area...kalvebod brygge i think he said...
