Do you miss the old Kai-Tak airport or even the experience landing on Kai-Tak?

I miss the landing experience, but not the airport. It was cheaply built and way too cramped.

The old airport gave great views of planes landing and taking off though

yes i miss the place, my dad use to work in kai tak airport, many childhood memories there

but the new airport looks way better & fresher, so both equally valuable

I'm still annoyed I never got to experience the thrill of landing at the old Kai Tak. But the new airport is awesome. So organised, easy to get to and nice atmosphere. Let's just hope they do something good with the Kai Tak site - something for the whole community - instead of just turning it into more apartment blocks.

I miss Kai Tak, but I am also fortunate that there is Chek Lap Kok!

Yes, I wish they could use Kai Tak for domestic flights...

Nope, esp since there are so many exciting plans for the site...
