Here are some pictures of Wascana Centre in Regina I took today, I think they worked out pretty well

I think Regina is such a beautiful place for a small city of only 200,000. Wascana Centre is a huge 2300 acre park system that cuts through the middle of Regina.

Since Regina sits on a grassland, every single tree in the city is Hand planted. A lot of people think Regina is nothing but a few houses, a barn, a grain elevator, and a lot of wheat fields, but it's truely an oasis on the Prairie

I also took a bunch of pictures and put them together to make a nice little panorama! Sorry about the brightness and colour differences, the sunset was kinda screwing with my camera, I'll fix that later

enjoy!

(if you're wondering why a lot of the trees look dead, it's because the leaves have already all fallen off for winter)

This is just where I parked my car.. Nothing interesting here, I just thought the sky looked cool ^_^

On the shore, with the Centre of the Arts and the dome of the legislature

And finally, the Panorama. From left to right there's the University of Regina main campus and SIAST, an appartment building with the sunset behind it, The Centre of the Arts, and downtown Regina scroooolllll --->

I've been to Regina. Wascana is nice, but the rest of the city sucks

Hey, another Regina person on the board... finally :) Welcome, and the panorama is good in terms of how it fits together/lines up... the brightness/colour differences are quite funny though :D

That apartment in the middle sticks out like a sore thumb though... somewhat embarassing :(

Not bad. Something about that Saskatchewan sky, just can't explain it.

Thanks for the pics, never enough of Regina. Wish a new tower would be build in the city, a city tallest perhaps, it would add to the skyline.

Thanks for sharing!

That apartment in the middle sticks out like a sore thumb though... somewhat embarassing :(But at least it did a nice job of partly blocking out the sun, without the building there, that entire frame would be all white :)

I've been to Regina. Wascana is nice, but the rest of the city sucksCare to be more specific?

anyways, here's another one I took this summer, out of all the pics ive taken of Wascana, I like this one the best
