I dug up some old photos recently and thought I would share them. These are all vintage late seventies. Some things have stayed the same. Some have changed for the good or bad. Some of these views are agles you have not seen.

Here is Erie Basin Marina (winter)when it was brand new. Notice that the area has no buildings and the Marina peninsula does not yet have trees. Canada is in the backround.

Main Street with People! Thats right it was not that long ago when Main Street was packed with people. There were 7 department stores along with many other smaller stores (some 10 floors tall) operating on Main Steet at the time of this picture. Notice the news stand at the left edge

Great pictures. It's interesting to see how thirty years have changed the cityscape so much.
