Hey guys, someone has informed me that a new law was passed in Miami about 2 weeks ago sayong that if you feel threatened by another person then it is now legal to shoot them and then call the police. Not saying that I don't believe the other person but this seems VERY unlikely and unpractical. Was there really a law like this passed? I figured someone on here would know

It wasn't passed in Miami, it was passed by the state of Florida. Basically, b4 the law was passed, if u were threatened while on the streets, and u had a sidearm with u for protection, and u had the propper papers in order... and u were feeling threatened, u had to run away, or attempt the action of running away b4 u could discharge ur weapon in self defense. The new law passed says u don't have to run away b4 u can discharge ur weapon in self defense.
